Very pleased with this purchase. Easy to set up and good build quality. I have these lights over my seedlings (see photo), the plants have been doing well and don't have any issues with being leggy - like they did on the windowsill. The lights are easy to position and stay exactly where you put them. I adjust them often - as the plants get watered or repotted - and the light's bendable arms have not weakened. Timers are really easy to set up. Mine come on everyday for 12 hours from 8am (a 14 hour light setting would have been nice though). Would recommendv these lights and will probably buy another set myself. Update: I've now had these lights for 5 months and thought it would be good to refresh my review and add a new picture (from May). The lights did a fantastic job! All my plants flourished under these lights and the vegetables got off to a great start. Already eaten several courgettes and cucumbers since early in the season. The lights have been through lots and lots of repositioning and changes. Still no weakening in the light supports or the clamp. All of the bulbs are working, no issues there either. Update #2: I ordered another set of these lights the following year (Jan 2021). The design had changed and the changes were all clear improvements. Packaging is still good with all the lights individually wrapped. The control unit has been changed and is now bigger and less fiddly, it is easier to set the daily timer, easier to set the intensity and gives you the option of how many lights are used (1 to 4). Build quality is still really good. Common sense reigns with these lights - they've made growing seeds indoors a real pleasure. Great buy. PS They can plug straight into a USB port, which I find more convenient than using the plug that comes with them. Great lights. Highly recommended.

I did ALOT of research before settling on this product (my brother is an LED specialist) and I waited a bit before writing a review but, I have to say that my plants and seedlings are loving this light! Since using it, my sun loving plants and seedlings are growing and developing leaves much faster. 100% for shaded areas in your house or just to give to your plants / seedlings that extra support on our grey UK days. The arms are really quite sturdy, (although I did secure mine with tie wraps) when bent into obscure shapes and angles they can still hold their shape really well. This added with the firm clasp makes getting light on your plants simple. The cable length is good, about 1-1.5m so getting to a socket shouldn't be an issue either. I love the product and it works well. I was also a little disappointed at the lack of information in the instructions about what the different settings are good for e.g. when to use full LEDS, dimmed settings and when to use specific colour modes. Of course, I found these out by using the Internet, but felt the company was missing a basic sales trick. The build quality and packing are very sturdy and I hope to get many happy years out of this little grow light kit. If you have plants, veg, herbs, fruits in your home that need help in increased developing or potted seeds you want to get true leaves quickly - this would be a great, and cheap buy. Personally I couldn't be happier, I have decided to rate 5 stars due to the product being exactly as described and the overall build quality is really good for the price!

Bought due to low winter lighting and concern for my plants. Our windows are all east/west facing and have shallow sills so getting my bonsai tree and houseplants light is harder at this time of year. Good light range (full spectrum, blue, warm light), good brightness range from dim to very bright. The timer is good (4/8/12 hours), allowing you to lie in or be away for a couple of days without worrying about your plants. The light is fairly sturdy, not a fan of the clip/grip base through. The arms for the lights, and the cable, could be longer. It is helping keep my trees alive which is great. I will be looking into one with a better base though. The clip doesn't have good grip because it assumes you're using a thicker shelf than I am for my plants. I've had to put blocks on either side to give better grip. A screw vice would maybe be more suitable.

This light has made a noticeable difference to my indoor plants, especially during darker months. The adjustable arms are sturdy and easy to position, and the timer function is a real bonus. Love the dimming options and full spectrum settings – ideal for everything from seedlings to succulents. Great value and performance.

Decided to try out a flexible grow light as the plants I leave on my windowsill were barely growing in the natural light and when I purchased a flat body grow light I was forced to move them further indoors where the lower half of my plants struggled to develop. I must say that with the flexibility of this model I couldn't be happier with this buy. I was told by friends that grow lights are a huge impact on electricity bills and I can safely say having this on the 12hr on/off setting there has been no more noticeable an impact than having a regular table lamp on for a few hours per day (according to my homehubs projected energy readings). Genuinely impressed by the low power consumption. The light emitted from the arms is very bright on full, even on each individual light spectrum, and can be dimmed enough levels to make each noticeably dulled if the higher settings are too much for your plants to handle. The arms are really quite sturdy, when bent into obscure shapes and angles they can still hold their shape really well. This added with the firm clasp makes getting light on your plants a breeze. Can avoid a lot of shadowing of the leaves to help increase growth. The cable length is good, about 1-1.5m so getting to a socket shouldn't be an issue either. If you have plants, veg, herbs, fruits in your home that need help in increased developing or potted seeds you want to get sprouting in a hurry then this would be a great, and cheap buy. It's an ok light but am returning mine as no option for blue only light as it shows in the description. Had no response from product support

I purchased this light as it was on a stand as opposed to having to hang a light. Light was well packaged and easy to put together. The light itself is well made and sturdy, stands alone and adjusts easily, it is also remote controlled and has a timer which is really useful. You can adjust the height of each individual wand, change the brightness and also the light spectrums from vegetative growth, flower stage or combine both for a full spectrum. I first used the light to germinate seeds, the fact that you can lower the brightness to begin the seedlings worked very well and once they started to grow I was able to change the individual light height to each seedling and progressively brighten the light. I got good strong roots and my seedlings were not leggy, stressed or burned. I have since used it on full spectrum to help my very old cactus plant, my plant loves it and has started producing new growth already. I would highly recommend this light as it's more versatile than the normal single hanging lights and very good value.

Having experimented growing my own fruit and veg from seed over the past 4 or 5 years, I've often struggled with seedlings grown on an East facing bedroom window sill due to the amount of sunlight available. I've achieved good germination rates due to having a radiator directly below the window sill but have often ended up with very leggy (tall) seedlings with a sparse leave structure (mainly tomato and chillies) that I have had to pot on burying much of the stem to strengthen them. However, this grow light is a game changer! Turn it on at 8am and set the 12 hour timer and leave it to work its magic. I've successfully grown some very bushy tomato plants and chillies so far. They are the best I've ever produced and have thick stems and a great root structure. This light has worked wonders in the early stages of growth so far. I can't wait to experiment with other varieties of fruit/veg and get them planted outside in my garden. The lights themselves are very sturdy and easily maneuvered into the position each light is needed with no drooping (as mentioned in reviews for other similar products). The timer is easy to operate and once set, turns itself on/off automatically with no further input needed. I'm using all 4 x lights on full power for 12 hours at a time but the controls allow you to use however many lights you need and at a variety of brightness levels for a selection of times. So far...perfect, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more or recommend them.

Die Lampen nutzen ich als zusätzliche Belichtung. Meine Tomaten mögen die Lampen sehr. Sieht man ja auch an der Pflanze.

This is a great product to have if you live in the northern hemisphere. My plants are thriving.

Not terribly bright but my plants are happy and they get the final say. Love that this is a 2 pack as I can never have too many plant lights.
