18 year old parrotfish approve of this high-quality floating pellet
I've used these in conjunction with Spectrum pellets, algae sheets, and dried shrimp for my Parrotfish. They've thrived for 18 years (as of 2017) and are still going strong. They have beautifully strong, natural orange coloring that I credit in-part to their care, this food, and the other high-quality foods we feed them. Fish are pets and not "ornaments" and deserve the best care that will give them a long and high-quality life and this food helps provide that. These pellets float well, giving parrotfish time to eat with their clumsily-shaped mouths.

They like them
My chiclids liked them. They did float at the top long enough for them to eat them.

Fish love the taste, beware the size
These were too large for my two year old 3-5" African cichilds. The small floaters worked out well. I decided to try floating pellets for a few of my fish that aren't fast enough to get to the sinking pellets before my aggressive fish ate them all. This did the trick. I now use a mix of flakes, sinking and floating so all fish get a chance to eat enough.

Tale of 2 reviews; part 1 and 2
I’ve been using Omega One cichlid pellets (floating/3mm) since I started my 100 gallon tank. So:Review part 1-the fish all eat it, so I have no complaints so far.Review part 2-over the years, it appears the 3mm size has shrunk. Even more annoying, I order the floating variety; I don’t want sinking pellets or…I’d order sinking pellets. These (approx. 85-90%) sink.Perhaps we have a quality assurance issue here, so Omega One, send someone down to the production floor to fix this! Do better please!
