Updated review:I've changed my thoughts completely about this product now that I've had it for over 5 months. It's thin and light and no other battery case is like that. I've realized that when I need to push the button for more juice that it's because I'm not at home and the battery life is <10%.... and this is exactly what you need at those times- a thin, light-weight case that gives you 30-40% extra juice when your phone is dying.I apologize from my blatant disappointment in my original review. Out of sheer laziness I ended up keeping this case and now that I've experienced it, it'll be the case that I use from now on and I've been using (and trialing) battery cases for the past 10 years.Hope this helps anyone on the fence about this case.Thanks.Original review:Soooo not what I expected. It charges my phone about 20% .. so gets my phone back to 30% if it was on 10%. Most other battery packs give my phone 100%+ life but this is the first battery case that's given me this little.The pros are that the case is light and thinner than most other battery cases (which is maybe why it doesn't hold so much juice!?🤷🏽‍♀️). Another pro is that you don't need to remove the case to charge the phone. The case and phone charge at the same time. Last pro would be that the phone jack area is exposed in this case which is nice if you need to use it for whatever reason.Really bummed it only refills the phone battery so very little though :/

The most egregious waste of money, material and time. Why even produce such a product?? The battery inside this thing is so low quality and capacity that not only does it defeat its purpose, it actually works against it.Half a day to charge the unit for a sub 25% return?The highest quality component in this thing seems to be the adhesive used to hold this thing together. Will update if the actual battery rating is underneath the board.I’d strongly advise against this product.

This product performs as expected! As the description clearly says, it does not charge your phone completely, nor does it charge your phone as much as just about any other product I’ve used. It certainly is shocking that Mophie put this out…. It charges about 25% of your phone’s battery life. It’s still a super useful case to have for the price! It looks great, fits great, and feels like it would protect your phone.

Fits well, does add some bulk, only gives about a 50% added charge, uses a type C cable, the bottom is opened so you can still use the lighting port on the phone, does charge wirelessly and charges the phone while charging when turned off on a charger while still on the phone

This iPhone case/battery charger does the job it has been designed to do; it protects and charges your iPhone, on-demand when your battery runs low. NO, you will not get a full charge, however, It will extend your low battery life by 25-30% (about, perhaps a bit more). The case is pretty ok. Overall, it's a great solution when an extra boost is needed.

So the first time I used this case it fully charged my phone- no complaints at all. But the second time I used the case it only held it’s charge for about an hour and only charged my phone about 15%. Then after that, nothing, no charge and the 4 lights on the back of the case were totally out. Nothing like the Mophie cases I had for my iPhones 6 & 8 - those cases held a charge all day. But this case was only $19.00 so I guess it’s a reflection of the quality. This case is okay but nothing like the older Mophie cases.

I remember when Mophie cases were over $100 a piece. Mophie has upgraded the style and functional engineering. This was so inexpensive, I had to double check that I was getting the real thing. Love the matte red color too, make it easy to locate my phone.

this is my first mophie case, i was really excited to buy it for use at concerts, my best friend's wedding, and my upcoming vacation. i've used it a couple times around the house when i wanted to keep using my dying phone but didn't want to move to an outlet. all of those times, it barely worked. i figured actively using my phone was probably not the best idea, so i put it to the test today. i turned on the case while my phone was at 21%, and for the most part stopped using it. after about an hour, it was pretty hot and only charged my phone to about 40% before immediately dying. sadly, i'm not taking this piece of garbage with me on my vacation.
