Hi, The current capability if the 30kw is 125amps, this is the way to calculate: 30,000 divided by 240 = 125 amp The wire size depends on how far you run the wire, If the generator is located 50 feet from the house, then it will require 1/0 gauge wire. for a 5% voltage drop.
