These baskets are the perfect size. I love the square design. As others have stated in their reviews... it makes it easy to get through door ways with this basket on the hip. I am always doing laundry. I have a family of 5 and I do 1 or 2 loads of laundry per day - depending on how many sports are happening at any given point. I need a lot of laundry baskets. I love that these all stack nicely together. I have never had any problems getting them separated and they fit great in my laundry room. They are a good solid plastic - not flimsy at all. The handles are comfortable and I have not had any fall off. They hold a load of clothes without a problem. I would and have recommended these laundry baskets to friends. You can't beat the price for what you get. My only wish is that they came in a color that is more vibrant. Laundry sucks - it is fun to add a little color to something so mundane.

I am not a large or very strong person, so I wanted a basket that was sturdy and would hold its shape, but be easy for me to carry down the basement stairs while holding on to the railing. this is perfect. the sides are rigid, not floppy, the handles are comfortable, and I am able to brace the basket against my hip to carry it with one hand. plus, the laundry capacity of the basket matches the capacity of my washing machine pretty much exactly. no more guesswork about how much will fit! I will definitely order more if I need another basket. great for people who struggle with hauling around larger baskets.

Good quality, the right size and easy to carry. I have owned these for over 15 years and they are still like new. Just ordered another set of 6 and Amazon had the best price.

I first had the larger laundry baskets where you could put double the clothes. I don't know if it is my aging body or the two flights of stairs or probably more has to do with the tight turns I have in my home, but I found them too large to maneuver as I moved clothes up and down between my upstairs bedroom and my basement laundry room. These, however, are just the perfect size for holding a load or two right in front of me without being too heavy and without doing a juggling act to make it through the tight corners. I highly recommend. These hold up and are easy to use. So many other similar baskets have broken with barely any use, but these last and last and last.

This is a review of Sterilite 1.5 bushel laundry baskets. Love it! I have a full-sized top-loading home washing machine in my basement and also a full-size front-loading dryer. This basket filled to the top exactly equals one load. Also, they are very sturdy. The ventilation holes are not too close to the bottom of the basket, so if a sock or something is sticking out one of the holes, it does not drag on the floor. The handles are very comfortable. Before I bought these, I was using some plastic laundry baskets that I got at the grocery store a long time ago. My old baskets were made of a kind of floppy plastic that tore easily and the ridges dug into my fingers when the baskets were full. Also, I had them so long that the plastic had darkened a lot. I felt kind of guilty for replacing them because they still worked, but I have to say, I'm not sorry. Now I have two sets of laundry baskets, using the new ones and keeping the old ones for sorting on heavy laundry days. Someday I will buy another set of these and donate my old set to the thrift store.

These are great. Very sturdy. Good brand. Easy on the hips. They do their job. Love they are big enough to hold a bunch of clothes but small enough that I'm not bashing the walls going up and down the stairs. You can easily hold a kid on one hip and this basket on the other. With a family of 4, I have plenty of laundry and find it easier everyone having their own basket for organizing purposes. I really do try to do laundry every day...but let's face it, laundry pile up happens. It's inevitable. It's a never ending viscous cycle when you have 2 kids that wear 3 outfits a day and 4 people showering everyday. My husband jokes I'm the worst laundry doer on the east coast, but I don't see him taking over after 15 years, and I don't blame him. Laundry sucks! I love that these are stackable so that when on the rare occasion all the laundry is caught up, I can condense them into 1 stack and look at them with pride and accomplishment that I defeated all odds and know that maybe I wasn't the worst laundry doer on the east coast....that day! I took off a star because I would have loved a darker color that wasn't marked up to a ridiculous price that would make me a fool to pay. Cheers to you, laundry doers. Owell. At least everyone is always in clean underwear and socks. I hope.

2nd time I've bought this basket. Had the old one for years and liked it, but it was damaged & ugly. The new one arrived with a broken handle insert. I stole the insert from the old one and replace the broken new one. Perfect.

I bought these at least 10 years ago at a local big box store. After many trips up and down the stairs the handles were broken off. They are no longer available locally, but luckily I found them here on Amazon. They took 2 weeks longer to arrive than the original delivery date of a month. So it was a long wait, but my wife was happy to get them. She thought they felt sturdier than the old ones, but I think the bottoms and sides although not broken or cracked were a wee bit flimsier from age. It’s quite amazing that these lasted as long as they did. But the most amazing thing to me is that, at least in the case of these baskets, they do still make things like they used to.

The washing baskets at Bunnings were lucky to last a year. This product is of excellent quality and well-built, which I highly recommend! I hope they start selling more on Amazon cause I want to purchase another one.

Thought they were a bit pricey but I love them. Perfect size and very sturdy. Worth the money .I wouldn't use anything else now. Perfect for seniors who do not do much laundry and those who DO alot of laundry. Plenty of space in each one basket, easy to stack and easy to carry. I wouldn't be without them now.
