GREAT DESIGN THAT DOES NOT WORK
This was so frustrating because it ALMOST works.Out of the package, I had to adjust one anvil because the blades hit it, but easy adjustment.On 1/4 inch scions and rootstock, it makes a beautiful, clean cut, ALMOST all of the way through.PROBLEM - it tears out the back of the cut every time and the stem gets stuck in the tool every time.I tried sharpening the blades to no avail.I noticed that one anvil was lower than the other, design feature? or manufacturing error?I raised the anvil to no avail.Do not get the more expensive Zenport either. I usually like Zenport products but I see that their grafting tool has the same model number.
