Really impressed with this- having looked in the pet stores and quoted some extreme prices, this is wonderful value, easy to assemble and a really good size without being huge in a room. We have one budgie in it but could easily fit two, lots of room for perches and toys. Surprised and pleased that it came with water/food trays that are accessed by a sliding hatch on each side, easy to then change water and food, and the top opens up to allow some freedom! Also pleased that the side door opens with a sturdy, double release catch so it couldn’t be opened by a persistent birdie. Very pleased with this, delivery was quick and would totally recommend.

I'm usually really picky when it comes to finding a new cage for my birds. This time I wanted to get something better for my single Lovebird and needless to say that one look at this and its reviews had me sold. The shipping was extremely quick and it arrived the day after I purchased it. It's was also really easy to assemble and took me about 10 minutes to do so alone, and can definitely say that the width in between the bars are a perfect size. With the amount of toys that my lovie has, I've managed to include all of them so that he's not missing out. My only real issue with this is how poorly placed the sliders for the feeders are. They're located at the back (on the sides) but at the very bottom, and unfortunately not all birds like going down to the floor. Instead I just placed metal bowls around his cage suited to his comfort level. The second minor problem was how the perches that came with it are a bit too long and will try to stretch the frame unless you place them at an angle. However it's not that big of an issue considering I use my own perches. I personally think that it's for birds like budgies and lovebirds, however I do think it would be fine as some sort of night or travel cage for a single cockatiel. The way it opens at the top and the two doors at the front make it super practical for your bird. All in all, I think this is a great find for its price. Super pleased with this. :)

This arrived today and is a night "bedroom" for my eclectus parrot who is free the rest of the time. Far too small to keep any bird in all the time including budgies but to allow a bird a safe nightime space it's perfect. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy for what we need. Haven't cleaned it yet as only arrived today but I put paper on the bottom and will be easy to replace every day. So if you want a short term enclosure for your bird no bigger than an eclectus or similar then it's perfect. The food dishes would probably work for tiny birds but I can't see them holding together for a parrot, I haven't put the spiral perch up as it would be too crowded for her but I may use it else where. All in all a really good buy for the price, I got it with 5% off so it was under £25.

Excellent well made I have one budgie but it's big enough for two easy to clean with bottom removable tray, the front opening is big and the extra top opening is a bonus, can recommend it.

Found this rather tricky to assemble and then it didn't feel too strong, the corners and base would come off too easily for my liking and the doors to access the seed trays were very loose, our cockatiels would have had them open to escape pretty quickly. I strengthened all the clips and corners with wire twists around the corner bars and around the base clips, which made a big difference in making the whole cage more rigid and sturdy. (I used straightened wire paper clips.) I attached a couple small bulldog spring paper clips to the doors to clip them closed when not in use. It didn't take too much work at all but made a huge difference to the cage. We just use it to transport our birds, vets visits etc. And we housed two cockatiels in one cage for 10 days at a small pets boarding home while we were on holiday, they seemed quite settled with some familiar toys. I would get another one as they are cheap enough and with just a little extra work it makes a good cage.

I wouldn't put a budgie in this cage, the bars are too wide apart, it could easily get stuck and the top corners a small budgie could escape from. Good for a cockatiel perhaps but too small for a Kakariki or any other small parrot. So essentially only any good for a cockatiel. Having said that, if you do have a cockatiel it's a great buy for the price.

Nice bird cage for a budgie, plenty of room for various toys. Happy with the purchase.
