Are these usb chargeable mag lights the most up to date? are the battery mag lights the older version? what is the difference between the 2?

Hello,

They are both up to date. The difference is that the one with usb is re-chargeable and the other one is with batteries, so you have to change them when they are empty.
That's is why they have a different price.

Question 3

"winglights ... turn off automatically after 45 seconds ". refers to the indicators, right? what about the red/white position lights? separate switch?

Hi,
Yes, once in indicators mode, orange flashing LEDs will turn off automatically after 45 seconds to prevent power wastage. Red/White position lights will not turn off automatically. There is no separate switch. It is the same activation button on the head of the light. 
Pressing and holding their button activates WingLights360s permanent light function, with white (front) and red (back) LEDs highlighting the riders' dimensions. With a single tap, they transform into direction indicators, informing other road users of the cyclists' intentions thanks to flashing orange LEDs.

Is anyone aware if this is compatible with the Himo Z20 e-bike?

These lights are not specifically for any particular make of bike, rather the internal dimensions of the handlebars.
If your handlebars have a stop end that is removable and the internal diameter is between 14.7 mm and 23 mm, then yes, they will fit. Some bikes do not have a removable stop end so will require cutting in order to fit the wing lights.
