No, it's a Japanese workhorse movement. Albeit, very reliable. If you want this watch with a Swiss movement, find model 9937OB which features the Selita SW200 movement, sapphire crystal and solid end link and milled clasp bracelet. Had mine for years and runs as smooth and accurately as any Swiss automatic +1.5 a day Happy hunting!
