I've bought alot of lumbar support pillows, and this is easily the best one I've ever owned. With foam, there's alot of issues with portability. The pillows might contour to a good shape, but they will always be annoyingly large and will force you to sit further forward. Not to mention that with office chairs, they will typically drop down behind the seat if you don't adjust it perfectly. With most inflatable ones, you need to highly inflate them in order to provide good support. If you don't inflate them alot, your body will sink in too far and you need to adjust them carefully, and most inflatable pillows will need to be broken in before they stop sagging after use for a few hours. There is also a high chance of leaking from a rapture. In contrast, the plastic inside this lumbar support is extremely thick, to the point that it can withstand alot of weight on it, and the envelope around it is fairly stiff. It provides really nice support. I work primarily in IT so I'm seated alot, and sometimes I'll correct my posture and the relief I feel when I lean back is wonderful. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm definitely going to invest in more, as it made my office chair my most comfortable one to sit in, and comfort isn't something you should skimp on.

I tried almost every back pillow and support out there... and I found this! Several years ago I got one... since then I have purchased 3 more for myself .. I cannot drive any length of distance without it and I use it all day sitting at the computer for my job and have one on the chair I sit on the most on the living room. I have purchased several for family members who complain of back pain and ask them to just try it. Everyone has had the same response I did... huge impact on reducing pain etc. Friends I have referred this to have also come back to me to tell me what a difference it has made. It is a bit pricey but the materials are of top quality and well made. Try it.. it is a life changer. When I travel for work it goes with me... what a difference it makes on the plane and all day long sitting in chairs for meetings and trainings. Huge difference on the plane!!!

I have not had the product very long so I cannot speak to durability but this product does seem to be of good quality. Very easy to inflate and deflate and has helped to reduce pain while seeing in my office chair. I have not traveled with it yet but I intend to try it!

This purchase is actually for a second item that now lives in my car. A combo of things led to needing this product. I have slight curvature of spine, which never really caused problems. BUT ... between a less than ergo home office set-up (COVID probs) and sleeping in a hospital recliner for 18 days while my adult daughter was there ... my back finally protested IN. A. BIG. WAY. Found myself using a heating pad every day, all day, to keep the pain controlled (but not gone). Eventually went to my doc who treated me with steroids (no help) and muscle relaxers (made me dopey). Doc also did some x-rays which shows my aging back having some arthritis, so that doesn't help my situation. The imaging also showed that all of my grief is in the mid/lower thoracic area ... which was consistent with my pain. My husband had one of these pillows that he picked up from his chiro years ago (but he never used it ... silly fool!). He gave it to me for use in my home office, and I noticed a difference right away. I also made a few other minor ergo adjustments to my home office (elevating keyboard/mouse to best level) and over time I could tell these tings were helping quite a bit. However, every time I would get in my car, my back protested ... no matter how I adjusted the seat and lumbar support (which is no help, since my support is needed in the mid-back area). So ... I ordered a second pillow for my car ... and my back is on friendly terms with my car again. I LOVE the flexibility of this solution, as it can be inflated/deflated and positioned to respond to my current grumpy back situation. Worth the money!!

I've been using this thing for most of the past 10 months and here are my thoughts on it. Pros: Since it's basically an inflatable pillow, it's easily customizable to the size you need. When it's inflated the right amount and all aligned properly it's pretty comfortable. And you really need much less air than the demonstration photos show. The elastic strap with long velcro adjustment makes it easy to attach to whatever chair it's going on, and it stays there. The materials it's made of have held up well through months of use. Cons: The inflatable insert has nothing to keep it oriented properly in the sleeve, and since the sleeve only has a tiny hole meant only to poke the valve through, it's very difficult to get the insert rotated back around. When the insert turns upside down, the large, hard valve will dig painfully into your back. Since there's only one strap attaching to the middle of the cushion instead of two attaching to the corners the cushion tends to want to fold over when moderately inflated (as is most likely for comfort) and that seems to exacerbate its tendency to roll the insert upside down. Finally, it's quite expensive for an inflatable pillow. Overall: It's a nice idea but needs further refinement. I currently spend a lot of time wrestling with it to get it comfortable. If I could give my past self some advice at the time of purchase, I'd recommend getting a small pillow and some kind of spandex wrap to attach it to the chair. That would be just as comfortable and much less hassle, I think.

I love my Back Vitalizer because it looks and fits great in my chair and has really relieved my lower back pain a lot. I often have a very stiff and painful back after a long day of working on my computer. Now with the Back Vitalizer, my back is relaxed with no pain. I also find it very helpful as a lumbar support in my car. It can be adjusted quickly to adapt to my back and my chair instead of the other way around. As a long-time lower back pain sufferer, I have tried many premium brand lumbar cushions and spent a lot of money (some of them costed over $100). None of them was able to help relieve my pain like the Back Vitalizer has done for me. It is by far the best I have ever tried. I truly wish my chiropractor recommended to me earlier. Another thing I like is that it is slim yet sturdy – it gives me just the right amount of support and doesn’t push me forward. My posture and back curvature are perfect with no pressure. Thank you! When it’s set up, it’s fairly comfortable. That doesn’t last. This uses a plastic bladder that rolls inside the cover after a few time’s getting in and out of the vehicle. This causes the inflation and comfort setting to change. It doesn’t stay at the height set at either. In order to keep the air bladder from rolling, it needs inflated quite a bit. The manufacturer recommends starting off at 3/4” thick inflation. Again, the bladder will just end up rolled around at this inflation amount.

When I received it, shipped in a small envelope, my heart sank. It reminded me of a floating device I was given as a child to learn to swim with . After inflating it however, I discovered it actually made a lot of sense and it did manage to get my back-pain, if not stopped completely, at least down to a level where I could sit and relax. As it is inflatable it travels with me and is more than useful. Great buy.

Este cojín ("Back Vitalizer" de BodyRyzm) es maravilloso. Está bien hecho, es resistente y la válvula para inflar y desinflarlo es muy práctica. Yo lo uso porque tengo problemas en la zona del sacro-coxis, y me hace un buen servicio. Recomiendo este cojín, y es mejor que el modelo anterior de su misma marca.

The best lumbar support I’ve ever bought. I can now sit on a chair without pain and discomfort. The best part is you get to control the amount of support you need by simply inflating the bladder. I’m hoping it lasts a long time. If not, I’ll be back to review lol
