Great knife
Great knife at this price point. Very sharp point with a double edge blade. Knife also looks good and feels good in the hand. Sheath is not leather but is adequate. I mean you can't expect a fancy leather sheath for this price. It has a belt loop to attach rather than a clip. I have a Smith & Wesson H.R.T. knife that came with a nice leather sheath but it has a clip and I hate it. I'll use this sheath to also carry the Smith since they're the same size.

Much better knife than I expected!
Okay lets clear the table right off, Yes this is not a "collector grade" knife. Now that this issue has been addressed, I recieved my MTech MT-20-03 today and after all the bad reviews I read I was really ready for a piece of $#!T , This was NOT the case! This 13.00 dollar ( and let keep that price in mind through out this review ) Knife turned out to be a really nice add to my collection! So the cons: The Sheath is a low 3 out of 4 stars. The stitching is single run through out the nylon. The Sheath's button knife locking restraint is without a stiff backing ( which would be nice ) And only one spot appears to be uneven where the tang meets the bolsters on the blade side, HOWEVER! a quick 1 min grind on the old Dermel tool fixed that. The Stainless polished up pretty nicely with the Dremal buffing wheel and some Frizt polish. aside from that , the knife is pretty darn cool! The handle seems to be made of some form of wood and has a really good feeling in the hand ( a nice slight palm swell ) The brass pins were tight and finished off nicely. The fit and finish not too bad! ( at least on the one I got ) The Blade is not razor sharp but definitely sharp enough to do what this knife was designed to do! The Blade is a full tang and quite strong. From what I have read in the past I think MTech has been improving on this knife because what Ive read on the bad stuff about this knife, is not what I'm seeing. Remember folk $13.00 not $200.00. To sum it up ... It's a wonderful product, You can't go wrong with this knife.

Above Average, Solid Defensive Knife
Keep in mind I am rating by price point as well. This is probably the best knife I have seen in this price range. It's well built, full tang and feel great in your hand. It has some heft to it. It's a truly double edged knife which is really nice and fairly rear in this price range. I used to love M-Tech but recently I have been disappointed by almost all. This one is an exception to that. I loved the real brass pins. Sharpness out of the box isn't great but is easily rectified if your not happy with it, but it doesn't have to be razor sharp to do what it's made to do. The hand guard was also well made and properly fitted. Solid wood handle is incredibly smooth and well made. There are some minor imperfections but that is to be expected on almost any product like this especially for this price. This will make a formidable defensive weapon. Now the sheath is complete garbage but does the job and can easily be replaced. I would rather them go cheap on the sheath then the knife itself. I mean come on it's $13.00 for a well crafted knife. If it was only good for one use it would be worth it. I can find nothing wrong with this knife and would proudly carry it anywhere. Though they listed it as a neck knife and it's anything but that. This is an incredible knife for the money and I don't see how anyone could regret this purchase.

Came as advertised
Not bad for a Chinese made knife. I should have know with the low price. But it is well made for the money

Great knife for the price
Great knife at this price point. It looks good and feels good in the hand. It has a very sharp point with a double edge blade. Sheath is not leather but is adequate. If you are a knife snob then this knife is not for you. If you are looking for a budget friendly knife then you have found one that is good to carry. I have owned this knife since January 2023. It was sharp when I received it but I like them shaving sharp, so I sharpened it to my liking. While some will say it is cheap Chinese steel, it was not easy to sharpen. Took me a while to sharpen to my liking, due to its hardness. Its 3CR13 satin finish stainless steel blade provides an excellent balance of hardness and corrosion resistance. The knife’s fit and finish are good but if you are looking for the perfection of a $200 + knife then move on it is not for you. I find the fit and finish to be good enough for my needs. I really like this knife. I like its look and feel. Love the wood handle scales with the satin stainless steel finish of the blade. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, feels good in the hand and is strong enough to fulfill its purpose. This is a defensive knife, not an every day work horse, bush craft knife, so it will not likely hold up to pounding the blade through wood with a large stick or using it as a pry bar. Used properly it will last you a life time. Want to know its purpose look up the Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife, which it is styled after to some degree.

Great knife, bad sheath.
The knife is great. The sheath isn't. I usually don't buy M-Tech knives because my impression of Mtech knives are overly tacticool, cheap knives that are only really for looks. However I was browsing through fixed blades and found this, which has a great look, is easy to see its full tang, and looks well made. The knife came very sharp and after a few passes on the sharpening stone it could slice paper. The sheath however is bad. The first problem with this sheath in my opinion is the it doesn't have a clip for IWB carry, just a belt loop. Now of course I could have seen that by looking at the product page but its ok, I was too excited about the knife. The other thing is the buttons make it impossible to return the knife to the sheath without lots of effort to move the button straps out of the way. They are basically placed directly in the way of the knife and it doesn't make any sense, unlike sheaths that have the button strap come over one of the sides of the guard, this one has them come around the handle from both sides. (you'll see what I mean when you look at my pictures). The good thing for me is that I bought this knife and the Smith and Wesson HRT boot knife at the same time, didn't like the looks of the S&W so I used its sheath for this knife (they're almost the exact same size so it works fine) Overall, I love the knife but I would never carry it in its own sheath.

Unexpectly high Quality
I wanted decent double-edged boot dagger for years, and for the $12.22 Amazon was asking, I couldn't help but take the Gamble. What arrived in the package was a very pleasant surprise, the night has a sharp strong double-sided blade that arrived free of finish defect nearly sharp enough to cut hair with. I would have been happy even if the knife I've been half as sharp as it was, because the final intent of a knife like this, is to jam the point into another person in self-defense situations, hardly requiring anything nearly so well honed. A sturdy steel handguard, finishes the blade, that appears to be milled out of a single piece of Steel and slipped over the blade before the handle is attached. The knife is Full Tang, carrying the steal of the blade all the way through to the butt of the handle, a glass Breaker Point would have been a nice touch on the other end, but you can't expect everything, especially when the price was this fantastic. The Final Touch, is a smooth, well finished wood handle in place of the traditional plastic, rubber or ABS you may get on a knife in the same price range. I could not be happier with my purchase, and will probably pick up a couple more of these knives to give out as gifts.

Nice little boot knife for the money
The knife was decent quality I probably could have done without the giant m-tech logo laser etched into the blade which kind of detracts from the value The holster is absolute cheap nylon garbage but for the price I won't complain too much more it's balanced and you could throw it if you wanted to but the blade felt a little cheap for heavy duty use

Attractive knife, a real classic.
Great little dagger. Well made, sharp and is really a good looking knife. The handle is quite significant, so those with big mitts will find the grip fairly secure. It's not a big huge blade but a good size for a boot knife or one you would place in your waist band. This knife does have a little weight to it which is something that I prefer. Many like a lightweight knife so they can carry it unburdened. I like to feel its presence, to me it's a feeling of security when I know it's there. Mine came quite sharp but if you've a mind to, you can make it crazy sharp and it won't take much to do that from the point you would be starting from. I give this 5 stars, I like the knife, it's well made, looks good, is sharp and the price is fantastic for a knife like this of this quality. Oh and one more thing, I like that it's a satin finish on the blade, I'm so fed up with those stupid black coatings.

Great knife for your $
Good fit and finish, came sharp enough but I put a better edge on it. Nylon sheath is decent and 100x better than those lousy molded plastic scabbards. I got a custom made horsehide sheath, absolutely wonderful and classy looking. I also wrapped the grip in black leather strips for a non slip handle. A great value and a good looking dagger.

Excelente punhal
Excelente punhal! Acabamento impecável, boa empunhadura e super afiada. Só merecia uma bainha melhor mas nada que desabone o produto.
