Hi. How do you give the two transmitters different rings?

After searching all over I found out how to do this, to make it easier get someone to help you if you've got two transmitters (front and backdoor doorbell buttons let's say) already attached to the walls.
1st. If you've got multiple receivers make sure you can hear them clearly, I plugged mine all in in the same room I was in.
2nd. Ask the other person to press the first door doorbell every two seconds whilst you remain in the room with the receivers so they all chime at the same time, use the chime select button on the first receiver to pick the chime straight after the other person presses the doorbell, do this until you get to the chime you want. At this point one receiver will be chiming the chime you want and the others won't, repeat this process on each receiver until all of them are chiming the same chime. All the receivers are now programmed to chime that chime for that doorbell.
3rd. Ask the other person to go to the second doorbell button and repeat the whole of step 2 again but this time select the different chime you want to use for that doorbell.
4th. Now you test each doorbell, each one should chime a different chime from the same receivers.
5th. Be happy you can tell which doorbell is pressed from the chime that chimes!

We live in a country area with quite frequent power cuts and blips.  Do the units have to be re-paired every time there is a power cut or blip?

the doorbell rings when landline rings how can I stop this happening

I'm taking it your landline is cordless phone so I'm guessing it must be set on a frequently near to the doorbell frequency hence the interference I don't think there is a way to get round it it as pressing the doorbell is sending a signal frequency to the receiver your  phone must be doing the same do you have have two hand units have you tried unplugging the single one without the base unit the one just with the charger as was wondering if the transmitter from the base unit to the other phone to meet that one ring is crossing the doorbell line hope you get it sorted
