I would be lying if I said I hadn't repaired phones multiple times. I love to tinker and repair tech, and the great thing about repairing devices like your smartphone is that it is WAY cheaper than getting a full fledged repair and may even save you from terrible repair companies. But I must admit, many phone screen replacement kits out there feel very sketchy in terms of quality and advertising. They will plaster whatever words they can pull out of a Thesaurus just to make it appealing, but sometimes miss out on key aspects of the kit. There are guides with poorly translated English and unclear steps, and some screens may have some altered aspects like different color quality or even resolution if the screen is that cheap. I got this kit to repair a shattered iPhone X that my friend gave to me. I was actually kind of nervous since I haven't repaired phones like this, which can get more complex than previous generations. Thankfully, the kit not only comes with instructions, but those instructions are clear, use proper English, and have many high-res pictures to follow you through! The tools also utilize better quality plastic and metals than what I've seen in other kits. Nothing important, but it is a plus to know that these tools will last you longer than others. However, I LOVE the magnetic pad that came with it too. It makes the difference when it comes to keeping track of all those screws and plates, and is big enough to even organize them! Finally, the screen works just as advertised and also came with a layer for the adhesion strips too. That's where it got a bit tough, though, as the adhesion strips did not come off so easily and I had to separate it bit by bit whereas it looked way easier in the guide. I did press it down all around for a few solid minutes so that it would be pressed onto the area and even cleaned the area a bit beforehand to ensure no dust was in the way, but it still wouldn't stick so well. But I did get it eventually. I hope it was just my kit or something I may have missed. Also, the screen appeared a bit pixelated when I turned it on, although it wasn't noticeable from the typical distance you'd hold the phone. Additionally, I think it's more of a software issue and having something to do with a factory reset, so I'll have to investigate later. But yeah, really the only thing I'd count against the screen was the adhesive as the resolution drop was certainly the OS itself. Overall, a solid kit! I highly recommend snagging this if your screen is messed up and don't wanna drop an entire paycheck to fix it. The advertising may look a bit sketchy, but from my experience, it's a must have if you know how to use a screwdriver :)

If you're looking for a phone screen replacement for your iPhone X, stop here! I recently paid $75 for someone else to repair my screen, which turned out to be a terrible idea. The screen was inferior quality (you could notice that the screen was not at all the same, and the color tone was different), and broke with no force, resulting in myself having to replace the screen again. In fact, the phone wasn't even functioning. I bought this kit, and I was 10x happier installing this screen myself, even though it was more than the original job that I paid someone else to do. To be honest, this has to be the best iPhone repair kit out there, and here is why: - I've always paid for someone to install a new replacement screen when needed, and had no experience installing a screen myself. Everything was very simple, and easy to do. - The OLED screen is flawless, and appears to be the same quality as the original Apple screen. - There is even a screen protector included in this kit! Also, the screw magnet greatly helps for organization. - This kit comes with everything that you need to replace your phone screen. You need nothing else!

UPDATE: was working great, but I dropped my phone from about 2 feet off the ground (sitting on a bench), with a heavy duty case and screen protector on. The screen IMMEDIATELY started wigging out, and now the screen is nonoperable. Bummer. I can't believe an $80 screen could be so fragile. ************ This is my second iPhone x screen replacement. The first was a cheap one, and the touch screen didn't work well/it delaminated after 6 months. I'm on day 3, but so far this feels like a great screen. This screen seems to have better adhesive, and the gasket seems thick/really quality so it may still be waterproof. - quality: way more vivid than the old one. The only problem is that there seems to be a significant amount of "burn in" -- the previous image stays on the screen for about 15 seconds after going to another image. Kind of annoying, but also that might be a sign that this is a real OLED. - when I'm charging, especially with a Qi charger, the screen stops working. If i stop charging, the screen works again. Might be a problem with my phone who knows. - The kit, and complimentary glass protector is a nice touch -- though my glass protector had a serious chip taken out of the edge :(

The kit came with everything I needed to replace the screen and the screen protector was a nice bonus. Overall it was pretty easy to install, however the face recognition doesn’t work anymore (although I’m pretty sure that’s my fault). The screen quality is why I decided to write a review. At low light the colors lose all vibrance. The moment the brightness goes to 20% it looks almost the same as the factory iPhone screen. There are also times when borders on the screen should just be white or black but they appear purple or green. That’s being nit picky and it’s not a deal breaker, just annoying and a constant reminder that it’s a cheap screen. And lastly, the reason I didn't go with 5 stars. There are times when it just stops working. I’ll try to tap or swipe but the screens frozen. If I turn it off and on again it starts working, but it still scares me every time. So yeah, you get what you pay for 🤷‍♂️

Ottimo ricambio, colori vividi e molto luminoso, di buona qualità strutturale. Arrivato un doppio pacchetto e bolle per la massima sicurezza, con kit e istruzioni per il montaggio. Dopo il test iniziale si è rivelato fluido e senza scatti o imprecisioni nel touch, ne difetti nell LCD.

Mon écran a fonctionné 2h, mais le contact avec le SAV a permis de confirmer mon appel en garantie et le vendeur a procédé au remboursement. Je passe donc une nouvelle commande au même vendeur (les problèmes de qualité sont malheureusement inhérents au pièces détachées). C'est la raison pour laquelle je mets 5 étoiles.

Die Bildqualität ist deutlich schlechter als beim Original. Leider ist das Display auch nicht langlebig, nach kurzer Zeit verabschiedet es sich ohne Vorwarnung- das hatten wir jetzt zweimal in Folge, daher keine Kaufempfehlung.
