Came in a nice little box with matte finish, were really easy to install, adhesive is super strong. Preferred a different location, peeled them off and sticked once again - no issues at all. Really like these. Connecting to WiFi, control through phone, included remote and Alexa was easy to set up and offers good customising and options. Was able to use this battery pack below to power it all without mains wires going everywhere. Not sure how long batteries last as only had it on for 2 hours or so, so far. In general I live these wire type of lights. I've used loads around the garden (powered by solar panels) to create feature and warmth in the summer. I chose these lights because they had a remote control which would make them suitable for a high up Christmas lighting feature in the house. They were spot on for the job, easy to mould to my willow heart shape, the remote works well so long as it's in line of sight of the power pack and the varying light displays are fun. The only reason I've not scored 5 is that there isn't a true random look twinkling option which I found disappointing. But regardless they do a great job, look homely and inviting and are a good price. I'd certainly recommend them.

I bought 4 of these items and was initially very pleased with them. But then I noticed 2 of them seem to fade a bit towards the end of their length. Which was a bit of a let down.

These are great! I plan to order two more sets. We use them on back-lighting for our food truck menu, and having the smartphone app gives us one less gadget to keep track of (ie a remote). The colors are bright and the music function is pretty awesome! There is a little delay between what the mic picks up and the actual movement of the lights, but I’m not trying to put on a world-class light show and it functions perfectly for what we need.

I installed this underneath my daughters bed giving her a 'disco bed'. Looks amazing and it's great that she can control it with voice activation with her echo /alexa device... Was pretty straight forward to set up as well and had it hooked up first time. The app also seems to work as it should. A few more clips may have been nice to secure it but overall a great item. Now my other daughter wants her disco bed to be able to connect to alexa....

So I have had RGB strip lights throughout my house for the past 8 years. They needed updating as a couple of the bulb/chips had become discoloured. I also had first generation wifi controllers so i thought I may aswell replace them at the same time. When I saw this pack I was overjoyed as it gave me new led strip plus new wifi and great app but also Alexa compatible. Then i installed it all. So the lights are so much dimmer than the previous 8 year old strip and I mean way lower. Not only that but I bought 8 backs of these so i have 8 wifi contollers and every day one or two of the controllers fall out of connection. When they fall out the revert to the lights to factory setting which is flasshing red/green/blue. Really annoying as my lights come on before I get home so I come home to flashing colours instead of the soft white setting I chose for normal evening use. Having done some reading I have seen that other people are reporting the same wifi drop outs that I have. I know its not my home wifi as I have 350 mbps and my house is a smart house with no other component dropping out. Its a real shame as this would have been a great solution for my replacement upgrading. There is one bit of positive news though. Amazon replaced the unused boxes(3) no problem. I will see if the seller refunds the returned repackaged ones. If they do I will post that here also as I believe in being fair. If you are buying LED strips for the first time for use as everyday lighting in your home, let me give you some advice that I have learned the hard way. Ideally if starting from new, go for 24v not 12. Also make sure its 50/50 chips set and (this is important) get high lumens (the more bulbs/chips the brighter the light) I hope this has been of help

At first, I could not connect my phone to the LEDs via Bluetooth. I had to restart my phone when I downloaded the app to control the lighting. Then it worked perfectly. I had a great time with the settings that were set by the amazing amount of color picker, the flash speed and the brightness of the light strip. A nice feature is that once you get a setting that you can enjoy, you can mark it as a favorite by clicking on the heart icon at the top of your app's screen.
