The closest the UK will get to Port Orleans
First batch cooked and I was impressed, one of the best packet mixes I’ve ever used (for anything). I’ve been trying to recreate the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans, and this wasn’t far off - I just need to work on the thickness and the oil temperature and then I think we’ll be up to five stars. It’s expensive in the UK, but that’s to be expected and you do get a lot out of the mix. The instructions say you should get about a dozen from two cups, I halved that as I didn’t want so many, but still got ten, with some dough leftover

Expired mix - Disappointing!
Product arrived already expired by a month. This is not a best before date it’s a use by date, therefore unable to use. Very disappointed as it was a birthday gift.

I was excited to receive this item as it was a birthday for someone. I was incredibly disappointed to realise that it was out of date - twice!

Laut Artikeleschreibung "Cafe Du Monde Beignet Mix 28oz - 4 Unit Pack by Cafe Du Monde" sollten es 4 Packungen sein. Auch im Artikelgewicht werden 3175.10 gramm angeführt, was genau den 793,8 g pro Packung entspricht. Geliefert wurde heute jedoch nur EINE Packung. Das ist Kundenverarschung vom Feinsten... :(

J'ai acheter un lot de 4 unités pour un poids de plus de 3kg et je n'ai reçu qu'une seule unité de 792gr. cela fait cher le kilo !! J'attends de voir si la suite va arriver ...

Loved the cafe du monde mixture. Arrived in perfect condition and within the expiry date. Super easy and simple directions. Make sure you have a pot of an adequate amount of oil or else they won't puff up!
