Foremost 327622 Modular Open Cube for Modular Storage System, Vinyl Storage, Bookcase, Honey

A vinyl collector's dream come true! I have a HUGE record album collection that I need to store properly. I don't have a fortune to spend on storage, and I don't want a piece of garbage that will fall apart the minute I fill it with records. Furthermore, I don't want to have a super heavy piece of furniture to put together or lug around. THIS Modular Open Cube from Foremost is the answer to my prayers, and not JUST for record albums either. It's actually put together with real screws, not just tape. While it is lighter than standard "Closet Maid" or similar cubes, it's not junk. It can hold the albums (under my Queen size platform bed on risers). I have put it under my bathroom sinks to hold towels and other essentials. I placed it on my bookcase headboard to add even more storage space for very light (and safe) items. I have stacked a few in my closet for additional storage (and use those wonderful fabric twelve by twelve bins). I have a few in my laundry room, turning my plain old flat single shelf into an organized space. The price is perfect. If I need more storage, I come right back to Amazon and buy another one or two.

These cubes were a perfect solution for my small home office, where everything has to do double duty. I was pleasantly surprised with the material, the hollow-core construction is lightweight yet strong. One cube holds my 70 LB printer and copy paper supplies. Another holds 6- 2 inch refernce binders. I am ordering 3 more to complete my storage needs. Assembly was easy and directions quite clear. I did supplement the assembly with a good wood glue, which is just my practice for self-assembly products. However the wood screws provided are strong and long, assembly also included wood dowels. The honey color is a great match for my hardwood flooring. The cubes solve a lot of storage issues without taking up a lot of visual space.

I wasn't expecting great quality. Just wanted something to fit all my office stuff. Bought 8 of those, some with drawers, plain cubes, some with shelves, others with doors. All of them work good, the assembly is not complicated, instructions are pretty clear and straight forward. These cubes are definitely not the best quality or the sturdiest. Got to be careful when you attache the cubes together because the wood cracks. This is hollow core, so the frames of the panel are laminate, but the center is just a sheet of laminate covering nothing. It doesn't feel super fragile, but a strong enough hit will definitely go through. The laminate is paper, not plastic, so it is more fragile to scratches as well. You basically get what you pay for. These cubes are perfect for stacking and storage.

I needed something to put my everyday shoes on so that I could grab easily and quickly when going out in the yard or running an errand However I only had a small space I wanted to use which was in the bedroom outside of my closet .So I thought that this little modular cube storage unit would be perfect. This cube was quite easy to assemble (I've put together enough Ikea items!) and it looked nice plus strong enough. I'm sure I could use this in any place in the house if I wanted or needed to later. When I first placed this where I wanted it as a small shoe storage, my cat decided to check it out to claim it for herself. Now even though I do use it to store shoes, my cat has rearranged the shoes so she has a place to sleep also. This cube is definitely multi-purpose! I like it.

I am a bit disappointed in the color. I ordered Honey and the piece looks brown. The picture is much lighter than the actual product. It was easy to put together and appears sturdy.

I bought this to replace the milk crates we were storing our record collection in. I am not mechanically inclined but was able to assemble these in about 30 minutes. I did have issues getting all four back brackets on but just two (top and bottom) work quite nicely. Once assembled, the cube is sturdy and looks so much better than milk crates. This cube is great for display but the back is not sturdy enough to use for transport. There are easy directions on how to add a second cube included as well as the parts. For the price, these really can't be beat! Edit : Cube 2 assembled, took 30 minutes due to the fact that the wood dowels didn't line up perfectly. This was easily fixed by tightening the screws more than I had on cube one

I bought a quite a few of these modular system items, and they were ok. The finish on the door of the cabinet cube is only on the top, talk about lazy, especially since I needed the cabinet door to open to the left, instead of the right, but when you turn the cabinet cube uspide down, there is unfinished particle board on the top of the cabinet door. Then I ordered more of them, the longer cabinet size, some open cubes. I tried to assemble them like the cabinets in the pictures, however the cubes don't line up right. The square cubes and the rectangle cubes are not compatible. If you are going to buy all the same type, it will work, but if you wan to mix and match them and put them together, there will be issues. I would return them, except they are already assembled and who has time for that?

Good price but the quality for the price wasn't there. Plus it was difficult to put together because it came with no instructions that I could find and it wasn't obvious how to construct.

It pretty good quality for the price. I wad a bit concerned the colour would not be nice. It was $10 to change the colour. I was planning to spray another colour but they look great! I have two stacked with my LP vinyl records inside and the record player on top. They were easy to assrmble. Very satisfied with purchase.

Excelente para guardar discos de vinilo, facil de armar, el unico detalle es la parte trasera ya que es delgada y para que quede fija hay que introducir unos tornillos que esteticamente se ven mal por el frente.

El peso pensaba sería un factor importante (positivo). Pero no. Barato, impráctico e incompleto. Está más cerca a una caja de cartón en la que vino que a una caja de triplay o mdf de mala calidad. Viene con 4 páneles y 1 "hoja" de madera. Úsalo para vinilos o mejor ve al homedp*t más cercano, compra un paño de triplay, que te lo corten maximizando espacios, pégalo y agrega un sellador impermeable. Tendrás más satisfacción calidad y piezas que esta cosa que solo ocupa espacio en bodega.
