Custom CAI couldn't have turned out better, I was going for the "sleeper" style of intake but didn't like the idea of cutting a hole in the hood for a ram cowl induction. This filter as some of you know, it being a K&N filter needs to be oiled and washed to keep contaminants out. The filter pricetag was pretty cheap considering the quality you are getting. The filter looks well made, no factory defects I can see of. If the filter is ducted like I did, you get the added bonus of the intake rush noise, and colder incoming air. No more 'hot air intake' with the filter being setup this way also, just be sure to not choke the engine of air, or you're going to be running the engine with a rich A/F, Size ducting accordingly. The only part of this project that sucked was that I needed to cut a hole into the radiator core support, for the ducting/filter to come through.

Great fit on my 3.2 911 (at maximum diameter). The flange is thick and can be tightened down well, the filter itself is well made and well, it does what it says on the tin.

K&N air filter was a great fit. They work well and have a great warranty.

Received an original K&N filter fully packaged with stickers and instructions. Had much louder induction noise because of it. Very happy.
