Froebel's 8th Gift allows children to explore the possibility of the line. This set of colored wood laying sticks offers a large number of pieces: 1156 sticks in six lengths (of one-inch increments from 1 to 6 inches long) in 8 different colors: red, orange, yellow, green blue, white, black), provides a vast amount of creative design potential. Includes a sturdy wood slide-top box for easy sorting/storage. There are 40 each of the one-inch length, 26 each of the two-inch and three-inch lengths, and 18 each of the 4-inch and 5-inch and 6-inch lengths. These lines can be used for making abstract patterns, to explore letter/number forms, or as Cuisenaire rods for learning basic math concepts.
