Hair Sponge for Twists and Dreads

Started using this on the advice of my barber. I always get wonderful compliments on the style and size of the curls/twists in my hair. Definitely works best with hair that is slightly damp. I prefer to use a gel or light pomade for better hold.

My son loves this brush! He wanted trusts but wanted to use the sponge method, This sponge came with the holes already in it and it was so easy to use... He washed his hair and moisturized it, used the sponge on his hair in a circular motion and his hair coiled instantly!!

I like the size and easy way to hold it. It works well for establishing the twists.The sponge is easy to clean. PERFECT.

Son bought this because he didn't want to spend the money he has on a brand-named one, but he wished he had! This didn't last long before it starting tearing apart, and he ended up purchasing the name-brand one.

I used this on my hair and got great results. Then I turned my son onto this hair sponge which made it easy for him to groom his twists.

I have used this about three times and it is falling apart and it is not sturdy. I am very disappointed in this product this is nothing compared to the NuDred sponge, Trial by error...

I wish the top of the sponge wasn't a cut out After a couple of week's of use the sponge started to crumble, leaving behind tiny pieces of the material in my hair. I didn't know it until I started seeing tiny black specs all over the sink in the morning. May want to use a REALLY like sheen or something in your hair, as opposed to something more abrasive that may add to the product's deterioration.
