Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this guy wasn't as cute as I thought he would be. I liked the silly composition, but plastic nesting material on his head and at his feet looks cheap and spoils the look for me. It appears well made and sturdy, which is why I still gave it 5 stars.

Great detail-good value

I try to get myself a nutcracker every Christmas and this design is so cute. We raise chickens and the chicken perched atop his hat is adorable. The nutcracker came packaged very well and nothing was loose or broken. I would recommend these nutcrackers.

Nutcrackers are a special gift I’ve been giving my sons every year since 1992. They were very young then, but as grown up guys they still look forward to seeing what the new one is every Christmas; in fact, the whole family looks forward to the opening of the nutcrackers. Kurt Adler is everyone’s favorite. My granddaughter is now the recipient of these fun-derful figures and always tries to get me to whisper in her ear as to what to expect on Christmas Day. Sorry, Lyla!

I don’t know why 6000 nails was included with it, caused damage to a sunflower and fence picket. Was able to re glue & box was in bad shape. Decent value
