It really works! The light automatically comes on and stays on until you unlock the door. I chose the color the same as the locks on the door and it looks great. The adhesive is great-no problem with it not adhering to the door. This product is a winner-I love it! PS: An excellent product for the money.

Easy installation with just a sticky pad. Works great and is bright. I have had it on for a few weeks and it working great. Solved the problem of fumbling for my phone to turn on the flashlight so I could unlock my door at night.

This item works perfectly! It mounted easily above the doorknob on my front door. Comes on as I reach for the knob and stays on just long enough to unlock the door. A plus - comes on when my black dog comes to the door and wants in. Otherwise, it's like he's invisible!

So i have 2 motion lights that never want to turn on when we need them. I saw this light and I had hope that maybe, just maybe, we would be able to see when we came home at night. It arrived quickly. It was easy to install. It takes a single AA battery. It easily slides up to change the battery, and back down to secure it on the door. This light greets me every time I walk up. It lights up the door so I can actually see to get in the house. It immediately made us happy that very day we installed it. I think these could be great for dark hallway closets too. I may get another down the road for that purpose. But for now, its great having this for the front door. The price was also so affordable.

This exceeded my expectations. Been using for over a year for my exterior front door where it's exposed to high Texas heat (and recently below zero temps). Light still works off the first set of batteries and stays on long enough to fiddle with my key ring to find my house key. Area is well lit around the light, much more than anticipated. Light has been stuck to the door with the provided double sided Adhesive foam tape, which can be purchased anywhere if the light has to be moved. There is an option to use a more permanent mounting with screw holes on the mounting plate. If you find yourself forgetting to keep your porch light on and hate fumbling with your keys at the door to find the right one, this is your solution!
