75099M 10-inch LED Digital Clock with Auto Dimming Brightness, 10-Inch / Red

This clock is mounted to be viewed about 25 feet away on a stage. The clock is easily readable at this distance with large numbers. The clock comes with a relatively long wire and is wall mountable. The optional batteries ensure that the clock does not lose time when the power goes out, though they do not power the light. A great feature of this clock is that you can also set the date. By doing this and enabling DST, the clock will automatically change in the spring and winter for daylight savings. I would highly recommend this clock for those who need a very large readout digital clock.

The clock is a little big, but it is easy to read. I like that dimmable, well made.

Somewhat expensive but it has the largest numerals of any dimmable clock I could find in this niche. My priority was a big size display, if this keeps working for a number of years it will be worth the money. Easy to adjust the dim levels and the auto-dimming works ok too. Quality of construction is better than what I have seen in some other clocks of this kind. It would be nice if the prop on the back of the clock was more sturdy than the one small plastic leg that is provided. The cord is 9 ft. long. No alarm, but I did not need one. Note: only the 10 inch model has adjustable brightness, the larger models do not.

ALMOST perfect for what I want. The display is crisp, clear and bright. Set-up and mounting was easy. The ONLY thing I wish was different (hence only 4 stars) is that I want to adjust the permanent setting of brightness (6 possible levels), THEN turn on the automatic dimming. However, this clock only allows auto-dim when on the MAXIMUM brightness setting- bummer!

As the headline states, this wall clock is very very BRIGHT and READABLE! It would've been a plus if It can do a 24-hour format but it is NOT AVAILABLE on this clock. Overall it is a great, readable, functional, affordable wall clock! Highly recommend!

I really like the clock. It is really easy to adjust to just the right brightness and it worked fine for about 6 months. However one day I noticed the time was completely off. When I tried to reset the time I was unable to do so. Nothing I did had any effect. The only way I can get it to show the correct time is to unplug it and pull the battery out. I wait until 12:00 noon or 12:00 midnight then plug it back in immediately. The display defaults to 12:00. Fortunately, I don't have to do this very often. One other defect has occurred. The LED light on the lower half of the numeral one on the leftmost number place only-no longer illuminates. To illustrate, when the time is 11:00 it looks something like this. '1:00 ... Wierd!

I have had AcuRite clocks before and was very pleased with their performance. I wanted a new clock for the bedroom. One I could read easily. So I purchased this model. The clock is easy for me too see. It has an adjustable brightness control. That was one of the features that prompted me to purchase this product. Plus their customer service is knowledgeable and courteous. Want a reliable clock?? This one is second to none.

I like the auto dim feature. 9:00 p.m. at night, it drops down... 9:00 a.m., it comes back up... Plenty dim enough to not light up the room in the dark at night in the bedroom.... No you can't read it with the light on because it's so dim... That's a good thing... This was exactly what I wanted... If I open my eyes at 2:00 in the morning, and I want to see what time it is, without putting my glasses on, and without picking up my blue light phone, I can simply glance across the room where I've mounted this light on the wall and see what I need to see and determine that I can go back to sleep.... It's keeping the time perfectly... Pay attention to which model you purchase... Each model has a different feature set... I have attached a photo of the one that I bought... This was taking at 9:47 a.m. when it was on the full bright setting...

Very pleased with this clock I bought for my 99 year old father. He has poor eyesight and can now clearly see the red numerals. The backup battery ensures the clock resumes operating with the correct time after a power failure, which is paramount for him since he can’t adjust the time on clocks anymore. Even better is there is a switch that automatically adjusts the time for Daylight Savings Time, so I don’t have to reset the clock for that either!

Sirve exactamente para lo que es: indicar la hora, ni fecha ni alarma ni radio. Sólo hora y minutos. Viene con su manual de instrucciones correctamente detalladas. Lo instalé en interior, el manual especifica que se mantenga lejos de polvo y humedad. Tal como se indica en la descripción, el reloj SÓLO SIRVE con energía eléctrica (viene con su adaptador de corriente). Mientras que las baterías ayudan a que no se desconfigure la hora/día del reloj, por si se llega a desconectar de la energía eléctrica. Con baterías NO encienden los dígitos. PROS Brillo: cada dígito es intenso y uniforme en su brillo, lo adquirí en color rojo. Por default el brillo viene al 100%, se pueden apreciar claramente los dígitos a poco más de 10 metros de distancia. Si se desea disminuir el brillo, tiene dos botones + y - que regulan la intensidad. Al pulsar varias veces el botón de "menos brillo" (75%, 50%, 25% y 10%), se activa el modo "AUTO DIM" un pequeño indicador en la pantalla que significa brillo automático (en el día se ve intenso y va disminuyendo su brillo hasta el anochecer basado en la hora del día). Compartimento: muy práctico y organizado para guardar el exceso de cable. Ahí mismo se colocan las 2 baterías AAA. Cambio de horario: práctico para que se actualice automáticamente según el horario de verano. Tiene botón de activar/desactivar DST. Lo tengo instalado en la pared a una altura razonable que me impide estar cambiando la hora cada temporada. Soporte: para escritorio o mesa. Es práctico porque tiene una "patita" en la parte de atrás que se extiende para recargar el reloj en la mesa. CONS Motivo por el que le asigno 4 estrellas es: -El indicador de PM/AM se ve diminuto y se puede leer a lo mucho a 1 metro de distancia, no es problema para mi. -Aunque pide configurar la fecha (día/mes/año), no la muestra. Supongo que es para programar el horario de verano y esta opción se puede habilitar activando el botón DST que viene al interior del compartimento. Sí lo recomiendo si lo que se desea es tener números grandes y brillantes para una estancia amplia. ---- Subiré actualización conforme pasen los meses de uso del producto.

Bought this clock for my 87 yr old dad and he loved it so much that I had to get one for myself. It is great the numbers are large enough to see and bright enough. I also like that you can adjust the brightness.

Bought several of these to put in out warehouses. I love how big and bright these are and can be seen from far away. Unfortunately they do not keep time accurately and always fall behind 1-2 minutes per month if it's not more. I need to fix the time every month or so and it is really annoying since these are placed up high and require a ladder each time. I would not recommend.

Mounting holes for on back for wall mounting are very tight for screw head. Inside space within mounting holes should be larger to allow for use of bigger screws which would more securely mount clock to wall. Otherwise, clock meets our needs and expectations.
