Arrived without appropriate packaging How do I know it's really 100'? what's the actual brand name?

Good wire - same kind as I'd get from my local big-box for a slightly lower price. It's 14/2, so white-ground-black and good for 15amp circuits (use 12ga wire for 20amp). Because it's 14ga it is easy to bend and twist together. The cover is also smooth so it doesn't catch too much when pulling through walls or such - I don't have any worries about accidentally damaging the insulation. I've used this for quite a few outlets and light fixtures and it's working great so far.

This 15-foot coil was convenient for a small indoor wiring project without buying a large roll. The Simpull jacket fed [smoothly/with some resistance] through the route and the cable stripped cleanly. As 14/2 NM-B, it must only be used where permitted by local code and for the correct circuit ampacity. Measure the full route carefully because a 15-foot coil leaves little room for mistakes or extra slack.
