Makeronics 3220-Point Solderless Breadboard

Works good for class labs. Don't really use the top part of the beard board but it's plenty of space and everything I need to get some work done.

Fantastic prototyping board, really good quality and large enough to build a large circuit, or a number of sub-circuits. Great price too. I had a very small issue with one of the binding posts, they replied to my email within hours and mailed a replacement set of binding posts right away. Couldn’t expect better customer service. Will definitely use these guys again.

This is a solid project board with plenty of space for those awkward components that don’t quite fit on a standard 10-row sprung breadboard. For the reasonable price, it’s far more practical than slotting three smaller boards together, and it’s just the right size for more complex projects. The voltage banana jacks along the top are a nice touch, though I was surprised to find they weren’t routed to the board’s power rails. I had expected them to connect directly to the small horizontal blocks at the top. One drawback is that the banana-to-Dupont wire connectors, shown in the product description, weren’t actually included. Another weak spot is the supplied feet: the listing shows six, but mine came with only five, and I had to use all of them since one screw didn’t seat properly and came through the side of the foot. The feet feel like the flimsiest part of the design. Skipping the corner holes and providing stronger adhesive feet would have been a better choice. I'm taking a star off the rating for this. The banana posts themselves are fine—just remember to move the split ring and nut to the underside of the board for a secure fit. Assembly took about ten minutes with the included tools, though it would have been even quicker with proper workshop tools.

All of the connections seem to work just fine. With another brand I bought, I had a very hard time inserting or feeling that the components were grabbed well. This also came with one extra rubber foot and screw, plus the assembly tools. Nice. I will test it electrically later today. One minor issue. Va, Vb, Vc and ground post. It doesn't make a lot of sense to have black and green posts. Projects with a ground, a neutral and a positive rail with a breadboard probably aren't very common. So green seems odd. I don't like that I can't use a two banana plug adapter due to spacing. OTOH, keeping black and red far apart is good for battery power. No welded shorts! Being able to run 12v, 5v and 3.3v at the same time is superb. I also ordered the Makeronics banana plug to DuPont cables. Because those are silicon instead of pvc insulation, that fact sold me on buying from this company. Don't buy bojack breadboard jumpers. They are so soft that they don't fit into anything. I'll use those for wires with alligator clips.

Not much to be said about this bread board other than it is extremely well-made and extremely useful.

I bought this as a replacement for the breadboard I was using for many years. This is basically the same as the original Jameco product. The beauty of this product is that you can assign the Power and grounds with screw terminals and with 4 separate breadboards can save allot of time configuring usage. The product works as expected

works great for lots of experimenting. lots of room

plastic pins are of very poor quality. I cannot tighten the screw of blue one as threads on plastic part are damaged and other color pins also dont looks very solidy or sturdy. After routine use, i fear it would also become lose. More importantly website description and pipctures show screws for rubber footpads but there no holes in metal plate and no screws. Footpads are not adhesive and they will come off easily.
