Lemon zest a baking staple!
I’ve used this before, it’s excellent in recipes. My grocery store stopped carrying it and I was broken hearted. It is excellent for cookies, baking, and other dishes. While fresh it often preferred, lemons might not be in season and cost can be high. This is effective, the color, aroma and flavor work well. I have used in biscotti and other Italian recipes that call for quite a bit of zest.

I don't usually buy dehydrated zest, but this intrigued me so I tried it. All in all, it's not as flavorful as fresh zest, but I expected that. I doubled the amount of zest the recipe called for and it tasted relatively close.
