PRORECK MX44 4-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with 4 Hand-held Microphones Karaoke Machine for Party/Wedding/Church/Conference/Speech

I purchased this system to use at a Senior Living Home for karaoke. I pass the mics out to the seniors to share among themselves. Singing through them works best for me when setting the equalizer knob to 3. The wireless mics sound good if you choose the equalizer setting best suited for your style of singing, and set the volume knobs on the receiver to about 3 o'clock. For the low cost of these well constructed (made out of steel) mics, I only expect that they produce little or no feedback, and the signal strength and reliability is adequate within 50 feet of the receiver. I've been able to get about 75 feet of range with no cutouts, but that was within line of sight. I use rechargeable batteries, 2 AA for the mics. I know that it is better to use fresh alkaline, but I'm trying to reduce waste, and having fresh batteries each week for 4 mics can add up. The Panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries I use easily last through the 2 hour Karaoke sessions, and that's leaving the mics on the whole time.The only complaint I have is that the batteries are somewhat difficult to remove when you're in a hurry. I use a letter opener to pry them out of the holder. So I charge my batteries right before a show, and I don't plan to remove them for recharging until preparing for the next show. This is why I can't give a 5-star rating.UPDATE - 3/1/2019 - I've been using all four microphones weekly now since December. I believe the battery holders have loosened up a tiny bit, enough so the batteries come out easier. I still use a letter opener to pop them out. I've gotten pretty good at it. So I'm going to bump my rating to 5 Stars.

Just got them in , tried all 4 at the same time, no static , sounds real good , solid metal design, only things not metal is half the battery cap on bottom is plastic, and switch on bottom is plastic, if someone was to drop it ,I wouldn't trust that plastic not to break, so I recommend getting these rubber mic projectors . There great mics don't miss out on getting these and protect them with these . I have a cheap wireless mic that cost about 30 bucks and only had 2 mics. This unit has 4 mics and you can control the volume on each mic which i was not able to do on my old unit. The power box is metal and most of the mic is metal. The sound quality is great and I liked the price! I had purchased a SiYear Guitar cable on Amazon for 18 bucks with a 1/4 inch jack on one end and usb connection on the other end to plug into my computer and that cable works with this unit. Looking forward to years of Karaoke fun with this! No fault of the seller it was originally delivered to the wrong address and the seller was concerned and kept in contact until I told him that i received it. Glad that he cared to make sure things it arrived ok!

This is the second PRORECK UHF Wireless System that we have ordered. They work well in our bingo hall with good distance and no dead spots. The switch on the bottom is a bit awkward for the older volunteers to operate but unlike some other brands we have never had a switch break or become intermittent. The other minor annoyance is the tight fit when installing the AA batteries. Out of a batch of 10 rechargeable NiMH batteries 7 will fit OK and 3 are just too tight to put in the upper position so we have to sort those out and remove them from our supply.Other than these two minor annoyances the system has been reliable and fills our needs.

We are happy with the purchase. The microphones sound good. They have nice aluminum bodies however the end where I assume the antenna is is plastic. I think it could be easily damaged with a drop on the end of the microphone. The switch is on the end of the microphone as well. It is a little delicate. Cheap Panasonic batteries slide in and out of the battery compartment OK. They are a little tight. Duracell rechargeable batteries if shoved up in the battery compartment would be impossible to get out. I took the label off of my rechargeable batteries and they come out with a some effort. You have to be careful tapping the microphone on the end to make the battery slide out because the switch is on the end. but for the price, we’re happy overall thus the five star rating.

Made well and work amazingly for my karaoke business. I’ve been using them for sometime now and still work perfectly!I highly recommend them.Only think I’ve noticed is the batteries are really hard to get out when changing them.

This set a mic is worth the money. Powerful, the range is excellent! U can chose to connect the Mics through 1 1/4 jack or line them in individually using the XLR outputs. Only thing I'd change about it is the power switch. Its Small and I don't know how fragile it is. It would be good too if a battery indicator could be added to the ok information that's on the screen on the mic itself. But best choice u could make

EDIT: I'm upgrading my review. The company reached out to me and replaced the bad microphone instantly. They were great to work with.---Got it plugged in and turned on, only to find mic 2 doesn't work for some reason. Packaging is gone, the event is passed.For the 3 that work, setup was super simple - just plug in, install batteries, and turn on. The sound quality is ok. I wouldn't really recommend them for karaoke or singing, but they're great for speaking.
