Energizer Motion Sensor Path Light, Battery Powered, 20 Lumens

I saw this recommended as a freezer light in another post. My new freezer does not have a light and I didn't think it would bother me but it was a bit annoying. I had a small flashlight on the counter if I needed it (which was more often than I thought). It works great. It is motion activated so only goes on when the drawer is opened. It's been over a month now and no issues. Very happy with this purchase!

This device is perfect for my needs. Placed it outside door knob height. Plenty of light to get my key in door easily.

This is the best magnetic motion activated LED light that I have ever ordered. I needed it for some steps going down into my garage...I have a refrigerator close by so I was able to use the magnetic portion and it lights the steps very well..love the adjustable light control. Will be purchasing another one.

I installed this in a small stairwell where we kept fumbling for the light switch at night and it has been a game changer. The motion sensor triggers fast enough that the light is on before you even take your first step, which is exactly what you want for stair safety. The 20 lumens is just right for a compact stairwell — enough to see clearly without being blinding at 2am. The swivel lens is a nice touch too, letting you aim the light right at the steps where it matters most.My only gripe is the mounting system. You get a washer that attaches to the wall with either a screw or its adhesive backing, and the light then connects to it magnetically. It works, but the magnetic hold feels a little light for a stairwell environment where people grab walls and railings nearby. I used the screw option for extra security, which I'd recommend over the adhesive if you're putting it anywhere with regular foot traffic.Bottom line: For a small stairwell this is honestly hard to beat — motion activated, easy to install, and no wiring needed. Just wish the magnetic mounting felt a bit more robust.I purchased this product and this reflects my honest experience.

Just a great product. Installed in my small fridge and it works great.Very clever mounting system. Magnetic disc allows easy removal to change batteries.Nice light too! Very well done. AAAAA+++++

Perfect for fridge or freezer, a lot of fridges don't come with a light in the freezer, this is totally the answer, there is a quarter size disc with sticky tape on one side this is a magnetic mount and it works perfect this will allow you to change batteries easily, make sure you pick up rechargeable batteries, Panasonic makes batteries specifically for freezing temps, regular batteries won't last as long in the freezing temps. Perfect size for the freezer, looks nice like a factory installed item. Excellent deal the light and batteries together around 30 bucks. If you don't have a charger most battery deals include it for no extra charge just make sure to choose that option. There is a tiny switch inside near the batteries that will allow you to set the light for motion detection which is what you will need for a freezer or fridge application, super easy, just put the switch on auto and your good to go, the light will come on when you open the door and will go off when you close the door.

I wanted to use this over my deadbolt on my entry door. The motion sensor worked well but that’s where it stopped. The thing would not stay on the door utilizing the magnets. 3 of the magnets ended up coming out. They are the little, tiny, round, cheap magnets that had little holding power. It ended up on the floor 50% of the time when using my door. I will say this, it never broke upon falling, but the back would pop off and batteries would go everywhere. The light that is supposed to be adjustable will barely swivel up or down, so it almost stays straight forward. After the magnets came out, I tried to use some magnets I had because I wanted to have a light rather than returning this, but that didn’t work either. I wasn’t drilling a hole in my door either. A screw and anchor are provided, but I never was able to tell where it was supposed to mount on the light’s body anyway. I returned the item.

I use these motion lights on our basement stairs. I have 4 and when one died, I couldn't find them in any local stores. I was happy to find online. Highly recommend. The first set is several years old, so the lights have a long life. Battery life is good too. Easy to install and change batteries. Will buy again when our others go out.

Very nice product, I was skeptical at first given that my freezer is very cold (-25 Celcius/-13 F) but it's been working great for months.
