SHELANDY Powerful Motorcycle & Car Dryer with 14 Foot Flexible Hose & Wheels - for Auto Detailing and dusting,black

I received this yesterday afternoon and I used it this morning on a new car. It is an excellent product. I've been using a cordless leaf blower to dry my cars for years. They are powerful and work great. But they are a bit difficult to use when holding it up at chest or ear level. Plus they are loud when being held up by your ears. It is also very easy to bump your car which can scratch the paint with a leaf blower. This tool eliminates that. Just throw the hose over your shoulder and aim the heated air to dry your car. The heater definitely gets warm quickly and you can feel it in the hose. The expandable hose reaches full length when you start the blower and it retracts nicely when you switch off the power. The power cord is also good quality. I don't know what else to say. It's less than half the price of other boutique auto care brands.

Works great! It has a great volume of air flow with 2 different settings for heating and volume. I've use this for drying my motorcycle after washing it. And drying car, motorcycle, and gun parts after cleaning them. Definitely will be recommending this to my friends.

This dryer makes quick work drying up a wet car carpet (which is a paaaaain to dry...) However, the 2800W power number is obviously wrong. I measured the actual power consumption using a Kill-A-Watt meter, so hopefully these (slightly rounded) numbers are going to be useful: Fan on HIGH, Heater on HIGH : 1620W (this is MAX POWER use) Fan on HIGH, Heater on LOW: 1360W Fan on HIGH, no Heater: 1100W - Yes! This product has a +1KW fan! That's why it blows so well! Fan on LOW, Heater on LOW or HIGH: 960W - when the fan is LOW, the Heater is limited to LOW, even if the heater switch is on HIGH - I guess to protect the dryer from over-heating. Fan on LOW, no Heater: 700W - this is as low as the dryer will consume (aside of course from being completely OFF). These measurements indicate that the heater by itself is consuming 260W on LOW and 520W on HIGH. Word of caution: watch that hose, especially when using the attachments, which can increase air speed even more. Letting go of that hose when the dryer is on can make it snap violently and hit someone. True, it's made from plastic, but can still hurt. In short, this is not a toy. Having said all that - this is a very well-built dryer and well worth the money paid, IMHO. I would recommend it to anyone needing to dry something QUICKLY.

A solid performer for blowing and drying hard to reach areas where you can't get a towel in between. Never used it for pets. Air flow is pretty good on low and high power. Especially around the engine bay and front grille area of my 2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime. Used it mainly for drying the crevices and hard to reach areas where water collected after washing.., but have really used it for alot of other things. So don't think it's just for your vehicles. Didn't really need to post any pictures as the videos showed alot. I did forget to video me drying my car mats. Worked Great! Pros: 1. Small size is great for crevices 2. Heat works sufficiently well 3. Great for drying engine bay 4. Low and High air output works great 5. Hose stretches sufficiently long enough 6. Noise is not that loud 7. Works really well on those areas where water collects 8. Good to prevent those "Water Streaks" 9. Got the RIMS cleaned and dry without even touching it. 10. Super effective drying around the Emblem areas. 11. Seller was responsive and prompt with answers. Cons: 1. Hose is long enough, but I thought maybe it could be more reinforced. 2. Not really meant for entire SUV drying due to small size. But IT WILL and can DRY it, just takes time. 3. It does get hot sometimes, but still functional. Overall thoughts: For what I want to DRY on my 2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime, I am satisfied with it. Get's the crevices, crannies, wiper blades, side view mirror, charging and fuel caps, Front grills, engine bay, rear tailgate, behind the license plates, emblem areas, door and window edges, top roof rails, etc... does a really good job. And not just that I use it all the time to blow out and clean vacuum filters, shoes, lawn mower equipment, computer parts, keyboards and other house items, even "ALFRED" enjoyed it...that's the name of my Shark Robo-Vacuum. Gave it 4 stars because the hose broke, but that could be because I was yanking on it or whatever...but it's an easy fix and I'll post a video on that later. Is it worth the money? Overall would be a YES. I didn't want to spend over $100 on a dryer and this one was small enough and functional for what I wanted it to do. Take care and Stay Safe. JT

20 year detailer here. You need this, it does so much more than dry cars. Use this to blow the carper before using a vac, use this with the heat setting on to quickly dry floors, seats, and engine bay. Use this to quickly dry tires before applying tire shine. Use this to dry off a car quickly, leaving behind no streak or water marks, and use this to blow out crevices while drying, such as around door handles, bumpers, trim etc! Use this to blow dirt out of the rubber door gaskets. Use this to blow debris out of the spare tire well. For me time is money and this dryer definitely speeds up my cleaning time.

Unexpected: A filter and a spare. Performance: 2 speed air and 2 heat levels. The 14’ have and 15’ cord easily reach everywhere I needed it to. I was skeptical about the rollers, which do also lock, as I thought they were not quite wide enough and it might tip over, but that wasn’t the case even when I had it stretched out to the max. Yes, it will save some time over using a chamois AND it will remove the water from all of those seams and grill and gas door and mirrors and wiper tray and sunroof seams. So you won’t have to change microfiber cloths when you’re quick waxing or polishing, which ever level of detailing you’re staring with after drying. My standard detailing uses at least 3 microfiber clothes each for polish, seal and wax. So I estimate this will save me 2-3 mfc per car, more for a truck, SUV or van. WISHES: I would like to see a 6” wide attachment to more easily dry the roof and windshield. May have to adapt to print one up.

I've had the dryer for a while now to give a decent review. Under $100 you won't beat the quality of this SHELANDY. Wether you have a Motorcycle or car, it will do the job. Keep in mind it is a smaller motor, so if you are using it for a car consider buying the SHELANDY with the dual motor to get more blowing power. It still works, you just have to take more passes to get the water off. Also keep in mind that if you don't take care of your car don't expect the dryer to blow the water away. If you didn't take the proper care to wash, wax, and protect the car to get the nice beads of water on top of the car, no dryer will blow the water away. But if you regularly wash your car and maintain it with the proper protection you will love this dryer. Perfect for hard to reach places, crevices, emblems, in between the side mirrors, around the licence plate, the grill, wheels, under the hood, you name it it will dry it. It's also perfect for the interior, open all the doors and just blow all the dust away. It's nice and small and stores easily. The only problem I encountered was the hose came off the blower once because it untwisted off. Don't be alarmed there's a simple solution. Before the first time you use it, make sure you twist it in further, just give it a few extra turns so it's nice and secure. Then just plug it into the dryer and clip it in. If you didn't do this step and for some reason the hose untwisted itself, keep calm. Get a little bit of lubricant or even a little bit of water and just rub it on the outside end of the hose that untwisted itself, and just twist the hose back on to the plastic piece that gets connected to the dryer. SHELANDY if you are reading this, make sure the hoses are twisted in a bit more further before shipping. Other than that, great little dryer and I will be buying the larger dual motor SHELANDY in the future.

Always thought these things were a bit of a joke. But how wrong. The amount of hidden water it blows out of motorbikes.

I initially bought this for drying my truck, or at least getting water our of the seams, mirrors, grill etc. Haven't actually gotten round to using it for that yet, but I'm finding so many other uses for it. It works great for drying car floor matts after cleaning, so no more waiting for the sun to dry them. And it works fantastic on wheels/tires, so you can wash, dry, bag and store them all at once when switching between winter/summer. Good power, and the heat feature is handy if you're cleaning winter wheels before storage when it's close to freezing outside. The only thing I can think of as an improvement would be the addition of some kind of caddy to carry the extra nozzles.
