Amazon Brand – Rivet Ian Modern Medium Dining Kitchen Table, Expandable, 60-80"L, Brown

This table is beautiful! It was delivered in mint condition- all we had to do was put the legs on with the provided equipment. It is sturdy and high quality, and the design is gorgeous! It slides out very easily and the leaf can be put in by one person. Six chairs can fit around with or without the leaf- it’s slightly cramped with no leaf and end chairs, but is definitely manageable. We actually paired ours with the Stone & Beam Hughes dining chairs and they match perfectly! I can not recommend the table more.

Trying to find a different looking table I landed on this one. Shipping was a quick five days for an oversized item and freight delivery went smoothly. Not too much craziness with styrofoam when unpacking. The table only needs the four legs attached, 8 bolts total, but the wrong size 5/16 metric bolts (too small) were shipped. Not the correct package of bolts was thrown in. Amazon was great giving me a discount on my order and I went to Lowes and bought 8 - 5/16-18 X 3 hex tap bolts (see photo) and wrenched them and didn't use the hex tool provided. I was able to employ the lock rings and washers provided. Table is very handsome, though the color/tone of table is not a warm, oakish color per se. More a yellow, brown walnut finish. The salesman at Lowes really liked the finish of the leg I brought in when buying bolts, so that made me happier with table being a different color than what I was expecting. Table is 30"H so chair seats need to be at least 18". The info says it's hardwood with acacia veneer. It's a heavy table and does take two people to lift into place once legs are on. I always try to be cautious of formaldehyde used in furniture glues, but I'm learning a lot of furniture has the Prop 65 warning sticker on it because of "wood dust". This table does have the Prop 65 warning which wasn't listed on Amazon. It doesn't smell too strong, just the wood veneer smell and I'm hoping the glue used was formaldehyde free. Couldn't find any add'l info on Rivet Ian furniture. The "modern" look to the table is the intentional gap underneath the table all the way around and the shape of the legs. The middle extension installs fine with 4 latches underneath, some tighter than others. The track is metal with ball bearings and a cable. It's nice and smooth. I'm pleased with this table, though there always seems to be issues ordering furniture online. At least, this table didn't arrive damaged considering the boot prints on outside of box. Now to find chairs that match.

I have received so many compliments on this table. It's great for just the two of us, and the leaf is great and easy for when we have guests. The clasping mechanisms are very well designed and satisfying to use. Assembly was delightfully simple. I was excited at the keys being solid hard wood. I will say that the actual product is less warm in tone from the image on my purchasing device, but I actual wanted something in a cooler pallet, so that worked out great for me.

While the table top and legs are heavy and appear sturdy, the hardware is cheap. The table arrived with most of the hardware detached or ripped off, the existing screw holes were shredded and one of the slides was at the bottom of the box with ball bearings scattered all over. It looked as though the table had once been assembled then torn apart. One of the legs didn't fit and had to be trimmed to attach to the tabletop. None of the screws were tight enough to actually attach. The leaf is unusable. Unfortunately, this was delivered to my mother's assisted living apartment and would be nearly impossible to return. I've gerry-rigged it for use, but am so disappointed in the quality. The top is beautiful. To add insult to injury, the price dropped from $500 to $425. I'll pursue this with Amazon customer service.

This table is absolutely beautiful! It’s crafted from real wood and has a modern design on the table top. We extended it so that it seats 6, instead of 4. I bought this when it was on sale and for the price, it really rivals high-end brands. I love that it ties the rustic and modern themes in our home! Highly recommend!

Came earlier than expected. Box was a bit beat up but the packaging was done well so no issues to the item. Table was easy to put together but will need 2 people to turn it as this is quite heavy. Beautiful table once together and exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Very beautiful table. Wish there was somewhere to store the leaf under the table as I have very little storage in my apartment. Also wish there were chairs shown with the table for me to buy as the ones another customer bought from Stone & Beam hughes casual dining chair is no longer available.

I purchased these as either used or open box from Amazon warehouse. they were a bit scuffed up, but that was to be expected. They are extremely comfortable, my cats cant destroy them, and I wish there were more of them in stock.
