Upgrade and stop the leaks!
Would have preferred OEM part but this one did the job. Takes the place of the plastic OEM part and is made better. No more leaks! Good part and fixed the leak!

Fits but you might need to trim the hose to fit like OEM part
The hose was a little too long so I have to trim it to fit. The actual unit was much better than the stock part I replaced.

Pain to install but works well and is upgrade from OEM
NEED TO PURCHASE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE O-RING if you are replacing the OEM fitting. This is cheaper than the plastic OEM fitting, but made of more durable aluminum instead of the OEM plastic. No leakage unless you forget to replace the upper radiator hose gasket. Donโt be like me, order the gasket when you order this part. Installation is somewhat difficult, it is a tight fit. I suggest installing this and then connecting the thermostat housing to it and then inserting and tightening the thermostat housing bolts. Have put a few thousand miles on it this far and appears to be fully functional.

Read Before Installing
I was having all of the same problems that I read about in the comments, and I hope this review saves someone some frustration. Watch a YouTube video before you start Thermostat Side: When you remove the old T, check the thermostat side and make sure that the old O-ring and plastic O-ring retention fitting ring did not get stuck on the thermostat housing. Nothing should be left behind (you should see nothing but silver aluminum on the thermostat side). When I installed it the first time I thought that it was seated (it even made the click sound like it was locked in) correctly but when I went to pull on the T to verify I was able to pull it off, after inspecting everything I found that the O-ring and the plastic O-ring retainer was left on the thermostat. Upper Radiator Hose: The kit does not come with the replacement O-ring, you will 100% need to replace this O-ring, and is most likely the reason you are leaking coolant. Fitment: It's going to be a tight fit and when you are replacing with a plastic OEM T coolant can work as a lubricant. This however is an aluminum T and using some silicon (I used electrical connector silicon) as lubricant is going to be your best friend. Pull that hose off the T and lube it up and put the T back on the hose, you will need it to have some movement when installing. Once you get it on and connected to the block and thermostat the hose may not be seated correctly, if you lubed everything up really well you will be able to rotate the hose until it seats perfectly around the fitting.

2012 f150 5.0 fits poorly compared to original
Like others said I have had great results with Dorman but this does not fit tight at all leaks. Went to replace orings and bought this because it was metal not plastic. Leaks. Going to get motor craft original now. And hose is to long. Hooked to brand new motorcraft hoses. Loose fitting compared to stock.

Good quality
It is a little hard to install as others noted, but works great. I actually used a heat gun to warm up the hose to make it more flexible.

better durability than oem
Had leaking heater hose assembly and replaced with this. The quality is much better than the oem plastic. The fit is acceptable, but the installation is hard to get the factory hoses to fully seat on the assembly. In all a good upgrade and shouldn't have to worry about another cracked plastic assembly.

Heavy Duty fix for Fords Bad Idea. get one before your OEM starts leaking
its a shame that Ford still makes these out of thin cheap plastic that will leave you on the side of the road. Invest n one of these before your horrible cheap plastic Y Piece cracks and started to pump out all your coolant and blow up your engine!

trim 1/4 inch off end of rubber hose like others have mentioned
Everthing is stiff and a bit hard to line up. I used a screw driver handle and inserted it in the y end oppisite side to where the y mounts on the water pump and used that as a means of leverage to flex hose and connect the y onto the water pump. seems to be a good product tighter fit than the OEM plastic y connector
