Spigen Rugged Armor Case Compatible with Apple Watch Case for Series 9/8/7 45mm and 44mm Series 6/SE/5/4 - Black

I've been buying Spigen cases for my iPhones since the 4. I do like this brand. Admittedly I've had some issues with quality of the last few phone generations, but in general this is a brand I recommended to others. After realising that I am quickly becoming a very clumsy human, and a single bash of my watch left a nice scratch on it, I decided to get a case for the watch. I don't care about the original aesthetic. Apple doesn't either. Real world application always proves the hypotheticals wrong. This case is cool. I like it. It fits really well. The screen bezels line up equally on each side which is very satisfying. I have a little Spigen stand for my watch and it fits perfectly into that as well, so I've no issues charging my watch whilst this case is on. Overall, for this price point, I am very happy. There is no screen protector included which I think is a good thing. I dislike screen protectors for the watch. Ever since I bought the original gen, and then owned the series 3, 6, 7 & 8 I've tried screen protectors. They never really work. This case provides a durable lip that will take the impact before the screen unless you stack it on a gravel path. Recommended.

Bought one of these in 2020 and have been using it on my Watch daily since then. And yes, I've changed watch model a couple of times. Currently using the a Series 9. (The one that introduced the finger tap thingy that I never use) I noticed that the case was starting to disintegrate, but after the amount of time I've had mine, that fine. Taking the old one off and putting on the new one took all of 5 minutes, including giving the watch body a clean (didn't need much of a clean though) Overall very happy with this as my watch still looks like it's new, even after a couple of years of daily use and abuse.

This case is a great option for anyone looking for a slightly bulkier looking case. There aren’t masses of good quality ones out there. This is the third I’ve tried! The positives of this is that it is a good quality feeling case. It’s going to last as there’s nothing really to break on it, the main breaks on my other two were the screen protector smashing. But this doesn’t have one. Which leads me to the reason one star was dropped... There isn’t a screen protector built into the case. You’d have to buy a separate screen apply one. My other two were cheaper, but had screen protector built in. They looked cheaper which means I like the look of this one better, but did the job. Both took impact when I hit the phone and the case screen cracked rather than my watch screen. This doesn’t have that. It does have a lip, but that still lends itself liable to potential cracks with a bad angle hit. So, a great looking case and I’m happy with it, but does have a slight issue that would affect some wanting to purchase.

This case is a really good quality and value for money. My husband got it as he works in construction and needs to protect his Apple Watch against dust and debris and it does the job brilliant. Lovely design and it doesn’t affect the watches function and ease of use at all. Perfectly light weight and works really well around the touch screen.

Great protective case for the Apple Watch. Nice and durable hard rubber case which fits neatly over the watch. Installation is simple enough; a little tricky at first but that’s just because it’s a nice snug fit. I expected the case to be quite bulky based on the pictures but was pleasantly surprised to see just how sleek it is in person. Had planned on only using it for the gym and work but now I never take it off unless I’m cleaning the watch itself. Overall an excellent investment for your lovely new Apple Watch.

Not really sure what else to say about this case. It’s absolutely brilliant. Granted, it bulks the watch up to the size of the Ultra that I previously owned (just didn’t use all of it’s features) so purchased a Series 9 instead. This gives the same size and package whilst protecting the watch underneath. Took 5 seconds to put on and changing straps is seamless with the case on. I’m very, very happy with this!

Excellent fit could do with screen protectors to save the screen from damage.

The Apple Watch really looks great naked with its curved screen and surrounding body. The armour will protect the sides perfectly well and possibly the screen too from a very limited range of angles - but my criticisms are that (1) it does not protrude enough beyond the flat of the watch face to provide much screen protection, (2) the whole thing does not look as nice anymore (though it does blend in well with the silicon bands) and (3) the Crown is slightly harder to operate (the side button works fine). It's a compromise. I'll put it back on if I am having a rufty tufty few days but I think I may, on those days, simply wear my G-Shock instead. You can get used to the operation of the crown (but it feels better when you take it off again). Mine is in the drawer - but I hesitate to return it in case, after lockdown, I find I want it again for certain activities. If you have a screen protector, you may end up turning up a corner of it when you put this on or take it off. They're are quite fiddly to have together, especially if you want to take this on and off. Swapping bands is a bit trickier with this on compared to on the naked watch - the strap buttons have to be pushed harder and the strap fittings can get caught in the case.

I use this on my SE 44mm. This case fits snug and keeps me from feeling like I have to be careful with my watch. The case keeps me from hitting the screen on different things throughout the day. I read several reviews that said it scratches your watch because of how tight it fits and mine is snug but not enough for it to scratch it. I have taken my watch out of it to clean it several times and have not noticed any scratches period. Big, small nothing. I have been using this case for about two months and so far it’s exceptional. I also use a Spigen on my iPhone ! Great products! Everyone ask me where I get my cases and I always send them to Spigen!
