Bachelor Pad Economics: The Financial Advice Bible for Men

I was first aware of this book because it was represented as the basis for some MGTOW videos I watched on YouTube. I went ahead and sampled the introduction, and I found that the author presented a lot of things I could agree with. I thought that if he and I have similar opinions on the same material, perhaps he did some leg work for me and I can just read up on what he already laid out. This is precisely what happened. It was a nice, casual read, and an eye-opener. It applies for young men as well as men like me approaching their 40s. I disagree with the author on some of the points he made, but I'm the type of guy who looks to continue to benefit from other people's thoughts even when I disagree with a few others they have presented. My favorite part was where he confirmed something I had already come up with independently on my own. I was unsure of my determination that Western women as a whole are low-quality people, but that was my theory. When I read his analysis of women, it sent shockwaves through me because it validated my own thoughts. It's easy to doubt yourself when you disparage an entire sex of an entire nation. When I read about his experiences and saw how they paralleled my own limited dating experiences, I felt like I'm not alone on this planet. And reading about his other experiences helped me understand my own role in the world. I'm sort of following in his footsteps in some ways. I'm an interesting bachelor with a large and growing skill set. I have a very exciting life. And despite my own feelings about women, like him I haven't completely given up on finding someone special. This "most interesting man in the world" legend is based on a social role a man can enter into if his behaviors match the MGTOW bachelor that he is teaching you to become. He's teaching you common sense. He's teaching you how not to screw up. So sit back, learn from the guy, and enjoy a good, sloppy read straight from his heart complete with the spelling and grammar mistakes that prove it's both authentic and genuine, and not a polished team effort from a publisher trying to make sure not to offend anyone.

Have you ever said [or heard] the lament: "I wish life came with an instruction manual!"? Well, here it is. Aaron Clarey delivers an excellent guidebook detailing how to navigate the minefield we call life. At least from the male perspective. Which is the point. Women get way too much [mis]information, while men get nothing. And who's fault is this? Men's. We've never taken women's issues seriously, thus ignoring the threat of feminism. And since we're naturally competitive we NEVER share helpful information with other men, nor do we band together and strategize. So after 50 years of leftist and feminist policies running the show, we find ourselves in dire straits, both nationally and privately. But enough of MY laments. Let's talk about this book. While no ONE book can ever tell you everything you need to know about Life, the Universe and Everything, Bachelor Pad Economics manages to be a great primer and guide to at least get you thinking and walking down the right path[s]. Should you build a library of such books, THEN you might have Everything You Need To Know. Having read this book I KNOW what Aaron says is at least 96% accurate. [I can't speak to all the financial stuff, since I haven't done much of these things and thus my knowledge is sketchy at best. But it does SOUND good.] The information [for me] breaks down like this: 40% of this stuff I have already done, to my benefit. 40% I knew I SHOULD have done, but didn't and now wish that I had. 20% of this stuff I never knew and wish that I had. That's 100% of GOOD information in one resource. This is not hyperbole. I constantly nodded my head, pumped my fist in the air and shouted, "YES! Exactly right!" while reading this book. Had I had this book when young, or at least some MAN in my life telling me these things, I could have avoided MANY mistakes. But alas, it's too late for me. And if you're a middle aged man, or older, this book comes too late for you as well. HOWEVER, if you're under the age of 30, AND you haven't already destroyed your life beyond repair, then this book is right on time and you'd better freaking READ IT! It WILL save you a TON of heartache, wasted time and finances. I've two young sons in this category and I've purchased two copies of this book for them. I've taught and guided them well, but obviously I don't know everything and I can't always be there to stop them from doing something foolish. Whereas a good book just might do the trick. I advise all fathers to do likewise for your boys. Oh, and buy them even MORE books along this line. Build a freaking library. That's what I'm doing. I owe them that.

An excellent book that details how to deal with financial issues at all stages of life. Unlike other books that speak to you as if you already have history with investing and the lingo used within those circles, this book takes the time to explain it in real-world terms that can be understood by the layman. It works very well as a reference book, not reading through in one go but reading it when you need it. Thinking about house buying? Car? Investing? Maybe just not going broke? It's all in it's own separate section that's easy to find. Highly recommend to any man, young or old.

You REALLY need to buy this book if you are under 30 and a man, or aspire to become one. The fact that this book hasn't blown up is strong evidence that society today needs this book badly or not at all. Spoiler alert: it is the former.

I'm glad I read this book at 28 y.o, even if 10 years sooner would have been amazing. I feel like having acquired 20 years of life experience in 2 weeks. I now know how to avoid the biggest mistakes of life, and I understand the world and myself way better. Thank you Aaron !!
