UPDATE JUNE 2025 - 5 stars! 🤩 ****this is my most used mascara, I recently got 2 others (COVERGIRL Clump Crusher Extension) & (essence | Lash Princess False Lash) I still prefer this mascara, the brush is smaller which makes it easier to individually get each lash, my lashes look longer and fuller when I put it on, and it stays all day EXCEPT the problem of it is not waterproof at all, so if I go and refresh my contacts by putting solution on the lense and put it back in there is a little bit of the mascara that comes off but it will dry and stay there unless reintroduced to water. That being said it comes off super easy, you don't have to fight and risk losing lashes taking it off (using bioderma) I was on the hunt for the perfect mascara when another reviewer on another product suggested this mascara, I thought, why not, it's only $7.57! I did before shots of my lashes, they are naturally long but have blonde tips so you can't really tell I have length but oh boy when you put this mascara on here comes the length! Instantly gave me volume, my lashes are not curled in these photo's so you can really tell how much they lifted just by using the mascara alone. it is a true black color as well which I love. There are a few notes I want to point out Pros: -It is a true black -Lifts & Volumizes -Leaves your lashes feeling soft/fluffy and not stiff, Very light formula that makes it feel like you aren't wearing anything! -Very easy to remove with Bioderma Micellar water and a cotton pad -Affordable!! -Good quality for an affordable price, accessible to anyone Cons: -The brush head is quite large/thick and I can tell it's not getting each individual lash like my IL MAKIAGE mascara wand does. -This is not waterproof -The mascara formula has a smell to it, it's not exactly unpleasant but it doesn't smell good.. like a cross between chemical factory & baby powder -It can flake if you are like me and wipe your eyes/get that build up in the corner of your eye of either eyeshadow or mascara

The last two tubes of mascara ordered that were supposed to be washable were not washable and I developed some eye lid problems. I am going to try another product for awhile. I have used Maybelline for 15 years. I wished this did not happen.

I have tried many different mascaras and always find my way back to purchasing this! I am PICKYYY with mascara (like super picky). It doesn’t make your lashes clumpy AT ALL. I also hate when you put mascara on and it has little “fall out” off the lashes onto your face - this has no fall out at all. It’s also super long lasting - but very easy to take off with an oil based eye makeup remover. I try new mascaras all the time just for the fun of it, but this is a constant in my makeup bag and I’ve yet to find a mascara I like better than it (high end or drugstore). Just try it !!

This mascara is good, it had a very nice brush, good coverage, and comes off very easily with makeup remover wipes, as well as soap and water.

I've been using this exact same mascara for years, it's perfect! It doesn't clump, looks natural. Stays on all day and never flakes off, then washes off easily at night. (Also comes off easily if you cry!) But I love it.

Smudge-Proof or Not? Well, I tested it out and it turns out it's Smudge-Proof as long as you don't purposely try to smudge or take it off therefore the answer is yes to a certain extent! As far as Smudge-Proof terms this Product gets 4/5 stars (I will further explain why in the next part of my review) Easy to remove? My results were kinda half and half. I give 4 stars because it does come off but I wont give that 1 star because it leaves a black smudge, earlier in my review I said I would rate the Smudge-Proof a 4/5 because of this. You would really just have to scrub a little to make sure that black smudge is gone which it probably won't even come off fully (so maybe just get some make-up wipes). Volume Control I promise you as soon as I opened up my well-packaged Mascara and decided to try it on I saw a big difference in my eyelashes. I applied the mascara on my right eye and put none on the left to see how much of a difference it made and oh my god let me tell you my eyelashes never looked so long and beautiful ever before. As far as volume control I MUST say this is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I would definitely give a perfect 5/5 stars for volume control! So should I buy it or not? I would recommend buying this. It's overall a great product just has that one problem that most or even all mascara have so for the black smudge, you get when taking the mascara off I suggest using make-up wipes I think that would be a big help. I have used this product for years. I love what it does for my lashes...they always look great. It is easy to apply and remove. It is thick enough that I only use 2 coats and numerous people have asked me if I am wearing false lashes...My hand to heaven. BUT... to be able to have beautiful eyes I have to replace the tube every two weeks because it dries out. I am aware of this problem and unfortunately I am forced to buy 2 tubes at a time to satisfy my addition to it. I seal it quickly and never leave the tube open longer than necessary. This mascara would demand a 10 star review if only Maybelline would read the emails I have sent to them and fix the problem. Perhaps they have read my emails, but can't set things straight because it would make the mascara loose the great features it presently has....sadly I will continue ordering extras. There's no fool like an old fool !!!! At least you have been informed.

Great stuff!! I haven't been able to wear mascara for years as my eyes are very sensitive. I've been looking for a product that was gentle, easy to remove, and wasn't goopy. It leaves your lashes soft and separated. It's not for lengthening so it doesn't contain small fibers that would irritate the eyes, and it washes off with soap and water and lasts all day. I'm 76 so the skin around my eyes is thin and sensitive. I'd given up on being able to wear mascara until I found this product a couple of years ago. So thankful to have found this!

Seit Jahren schon mein Mascara erster Wahl. Macht schöne Wimpern ohne zu beschweren. Klumpt nicht und die Bürste bleibt durchweg fein und tuscht immer gut. Absolute Kaufempfehlung

My eyelashes are very short and fine. This mascara does exactly as described. My lashes look very full for mine and they stay soft. None of the cement type feeling. Easy to remove, I definitely recommend it.

This has been my go to mascara for years now. I wander some time, and cheat with other brands, but i always come back to this one. It doesn't clump or smudge, it's not thick and flakey, and comes of easily at night. Please don't ever discontinue this line. It is absolutely perfect. It's not available in my country, so I drive 40 minutes to the U.S to buy this. It's that good.
