I bought these to replace the one lost that fit my deep style kitchen drain, the kind that has the removable trash basket. I was attracted to it because it was physically similar, looks wise from the top, to the original. These do work but the sealing gasket was a bit different so it does not have that tight fitting feeling as the original. The silicone seal is a real plus, nice and supple and should stay that way for a very long time. It is however not a good fit for my disposal (I didn't buy it for that but they said it would fit) so don't buy it for that. Overall it's two of these for 10 bucks (for stainless steel and silicone) so you can't expect much but they do function acceptably just not as good as the original.

I've searched high and low for a good stopper for my drain with garbage disposal opening. This is the one. Yes, I measured my drain opening prior to purchase. It fits perfectly. It retains water very well. It is one piece, so it does not come apart when inserting or removing. It is low profile, so it is not easily dislodged when washing dishes, etc. It is metal, so it is visually attractive and will not discolor with use. Problem solved.

This was too small for the sink opening, although the manufacturer did note that one should measure carefully. It actually fit perfectly, but not to seal. Also, air bubbles came up around the middle handle. Had to send back.

I measured the drain before ordering. The rubber ring on this did +\- 0 to keep the water in the sink. It was akin to a slow leak. The feel high quality but didn’t work for our sink.

My stainless steel sink drain opening measures 3 1/2 inches. The stopper appears to fit in the hole fine, but it isn't holding water. I reinsert it and adjust it 5-6 times before I hit it just right and it finally holds water. It is very frustrating.Very disappointed!

I have searched and searched for a sink plug that actually fits. This one is perfect and it holds water very well.
