2.5" to 3.5" Internal SSD/HDD Mounting Kit, Metal Bracket Adapter with SATA 3.0 Cable

I needed to mount a 2.5 inch SSD into a 3.5 inch bay and this bracket made the whole thing completely painless. The included SATA cable is a nice bonus so you do not have to dig around for one separately and the whole thing screwed together without any issues. My drive sits solid with zero rattling and the install took maybe five minutes tops. Great little kit for the price and I would grab it again.

This mounting kit worked just fine.Someone gave a 2.5" SSD that I wanted to add it to my HP Desktop computer.I was able to do so and this Mounting Kit made it possible.

Easy to attach the SSD to it and then mount it in a regular drive slot. Super sturdy, probably overkill for a SSD, but I appreciate that it's over-engineered and not some flimsy metal.

Over all it's a good product but since I've bought 2 and both had the same issue, I might was well say so. The brackets come a little warped. Not twisted but bowed downward from front to back. Not a huge problem but worth nationalizing. On one of my computers it installed pretty well but on the one Dell I used it on, the screw holes were too small. Since it's designed to go in a standard 3.5" drive bay, it should use standard HDD screws used on this size drive. I was able to slip it in the drive caddy and let it float. Again not a serious problem but worth mentioning. Would I buy another if I need one, most likely....

They were so many to choose from, so I went with "AMAZON CHOICE" Bracket Kit. IT turned out real Good as the KIT is First Rate. I know that other reviews have said that it is flimsy. It may not be up to Battleship Standards but, it will hold either a 2.5"/3.5" Drive just fine. Look the 2.5" Nano Drives are feather light and this Bracket is solid and it will hold them with no problems.The Chrome Plated Screws are also first rate and the SATA III 6GB. cable that comes within the Bay is Good enough for my money. ALL in ALL, this is a GREAT KIT.

Good product

I bought this to mount a 2.5 SSD in a Dell Optiplex 7010. It fit in the carriage for the 3.5 opening, but I had to ream out the screw holes, so the hard drive pins would snap in. The cable was perfect, since the original SATA cable was too short.

The main thing I wanted to note in this review is that the screws are all "CD ROM" sized. Most trays I've used like in the past have the smaller screws to hold the drive onto the cage and then normal hard drive screws to hold the cage into the computer. This one expects small screws to be used in all places, including mounting the cage into the PC. Normally this isn't a problem, but if you have very specific screws that need to be used (looking at you Compaq), the holes are too small. Fortunately, the metal is so thin you can jam it in there if you try hard enough, I was able to use larger screws with some elbow grease.The other thing I didn't like is that this tray felt short? When I took out the 3.5 drive that was in there and put this in it's place, the connections were not set much further back into a place the cables couldn't reach. I'm sure it was only an inch or so, but it made me have to re-route the cables. Would have been nice if this set the new drive connections to be where they would be relative to a 3.5" drive, not recessed back so far.All in all, it works, it does the job and it's cheap. But if you have anything that a fairly generic layout, like a Compaq or Dell or something, you may want to skip this one and go with the Sabrent instead. I've had much better luck with that one.

Worked as advertised. Sure you could get a mount, cable, screws etc separatly but for everything all in one is handy. And for those who've commented that the screw holes were in the wrong location, had to drill out, well they must have had the drive attached to the mount backwards. The screw holes are placed correctly so as to mount in a standard 3.5in drive bay. Used 4 of these in 3 different cases with no issues.

I bought these to fit a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" holder in a Dell PC build I was adding to. They worked perfectly well and were quite cheap, to boot. There's not much more to say, other than that everything fitted great. They were well made, well finished and ideal for what I needed them for. If I need these in the future then I will most certainly purchase them. Thanks.

por un precio muy razonable podras adaptar tu ssd a una bahia de disco duro estandar de 3,5, el kit viene con tornillos, soporte para el ssd y un cable sata acodado que es un detalle interesante, recomendado frente a kits de marcas reconocidas que son mas caros y no traen el cable

Utilisé pour installer un disque dur SSD sur un emplacement 3,5 pouces. Impeccable !
