5-6" Red Ear Turtle Shell (227GS-0506) 10UB

I do nature programming for Seniors in the Senior Communities and ordered this shell for a program. I am very very happy with this shell and it allows the people to see one up close and touch which they may have never been able to do. It was shipped amazingly fast as well. Very happy, thank you. The shell arrived in tact, nice size for making a rattle.

I purchased two of these to use in my classroom. I have only opened one, and I am very hesitant to open the other one. When I opened the plastic packaging, I was met with the horrid smell of rotten flesh. Upon closer examination, you could see skin near the front opening. Then, what was the most horrifying, was the chunk of turtle flesh that was left near the back opening. When selling a product such as this, I would expect for it to be properly cleaned before shipment. Apparently, that is too much to expect. I am not looking forward to having to open the package again to do this myself. I would include a picture, but I do not wish to unleash the scent upon my home again at this time.

Someone snagged my turtle shell cause I left it out for good luck even though I hid it in the bush 😭 feel like I'm under surveillance
