Bought to replace an old brass garden tap screwed into an existing elbow. This was the first time I've ever changed a tap and it was easy to fit. The key (for any other novices) is PTFE tape around the screw thread and, when screwing in the tap would have left it pointing in the wrong direction, a second try with a couple of extra wraps of PTFE tape built up the thread enough to lock tightly with the tap nozzles pointing straight down, as they should be. The tap is very easy to operate and is a massive improvement on a typical garden tap. Having 2 nozzles, allowing a hose to remain connected whilst still leaving an available spout, is genius. It looks very smart too. The included metal quick fix nozzles fit the plastic Hozelock parts on things I already own. Very happy with this item and I would recommend it!

so good i have just bought another 2, one for us and one for my parents. We are useless at fitting things but even for us this was simple. I cant vouch for longevity as only fitted today but appears to be very well made. VERY happy.

Dropped to 4* as showing signs of rust on the outside fitted one and handles show uv degradation. 4 years old. Still going great though, had to add lots of pfte tape when installing as it was upside down when tight. It might take a few goes to get the tape right, count the number of loops you do and add 5 for each 1/4 it's off by. Really easy to turn on/off, nothing stiff. Bit of surface rust on the screw holding levers in place, I'd stick a bit of grease on these when installing

Seems well made and comes with the washers you will need. Comparatively expensive so can’t really give five stars for value - time will tell if it was worth paying a bit extra for. The lever is far, far easier to use than the (leaky), stiff brass outdoor tap it replaced. I ordered this online after failing to find this type of lever-action, dual-spout tap at two big chain builders’ merchants and two independent plumbing stores. I had my tap professionally installed but I think any confident DIYer could put this in as a replacement tap so long as they know how to isolate the water flow and have some of that white plumbers’ tape. Can’t yet tell if it will be frost-proof.

This has replaced a bib tap which was leaking from its gland. Easy switch over, functions well. No internal or external leaks. Solid and well made. much better than cheaper alternatives. Its frost proof credentials are yet to be tested! We probably won't take the risk and will use pipe insulation anyway!

Good tap, but handle going rusty after only 12 months

A first class piece of kit, we'll made, easy to use and relatively inexpensive. I bought it to use with a timer for a gardening watering system. Highly recommended.

Very easy installation, very well built bit of kit, only issue I have is that there is no built in no return valve nor any gauze to prevent sediment passing through the tap to our pressure washer. The latter was resolved replacing the tap attachment rubber seal with one with filter gauze installed. It came with an ebook I admit I havent read, otherwise very good bit of kit! Highly recommended!
