Helinox Ground Sheet | Packable, essential accessory top keep your chair from sinking into sand or soft ground

I've had this for a couple of months now and used it on soft, damp ground (England, so very normal) and have experienced zero sinkage. A really good piece of kit. Will fit in the Helinox bag along with the rest of the chair. Some people have claimed that it's hard to get the mat on to the legs but I'm not sure why. Each corner has a loop on to help you get the corner pockets over the legs and I'm not exactly built like Arnold Schwarzeneggar and I can get it on without too much difficulty.

Expensive but is very well made and works as intended

This is a must have if you already own a helinox Chair Zero. As many other owners probably know that the Chair Zero or One, sinks into softer ground to easilly. I has happened to me using the chair in a field of grass when it was not even that soft of a ground. The ground mat does solve the problem and it feels very tough and well made. It should last a long time I hope. I will give this a 4 star rating as the Chair Zero already cost me £119 and to add another £30 on top of an already expensive product is kinda crazy. On the bright side though... both products are top notch. It's an Helinox. What do you expect?

Just arrived, looks like good heard wearing fabric. More expensive than the other options but I’m hoping it lasts up to the test in the field. Very happy so far 😀

Arrived quickly. Very well designed, fits chair legs easily into corner pockets in the ground sheet spreading the load over the whole area beneath the seat. The pockets themselves have a strong base shape underneath, a flat area with a slightly raised centre moulding where the legs rest on above. This looks like a product that will last a long time. Would thoroughly recommend.

I’ve had this a while now and always use it. Before I had it, the chair legs would frequently push in to the ground, unbalancing the seat. Since using this - problem solved.

Great idea, shame not included with the chair. Very expensive to add to an already expensive chair. It works well albeit needs a bit of muscle to fit.

Really pleased with the Helinox Ground Sheet which arrived quickly. Fits into the bag that comes with Helinox One chair so I always take it with me when I go hiking. As it distributes my weight evenly, I feel even more stable on soft ground and uneven terrains. Very strong and well made product.

Heading out on a 6 day coastal adventure. The chair is lightweight and comfortable. The bottom skirt will allow me to sit in the sand without sinking.

Helinox chairs are great, but a few models have pointy plastic feet. Even in a grassy field where it isn't that wet the chair can still sink in. It isn't always a problem, but at the very least makes the chair sit lower, and at worst can get the chair stuck or cause you to lose the feet off the ends of the poles. The ground sheet is here to solve that problem! This item works great on any soft soil, gravel, or sand.The ground sheet makes the chair not only usable but much more stable on almost all loose surfaces and I tend to use it almost always except for the driest of ground. It is made well very well with the same quality you get with the Helinox chairs. It has 4 plastic pads that slip over the feet of your Helinox chair. Like the chair itself it can be a bit difficult to slip the groundsheet over the feet at first until you get the hang of it. It is rectangular so make sure you have it oriented correctly. It also has a strap that clips around the bottom support of your chair. This makes the whole thing even more snug and stable. You can see in the pictures that the wider plastic feet increase the surface area enough, but then the sheet itself adds even more to make it even more stable on sand or very loose dirt. The ground sheet fits nicely into the chair one bag, so no need to worry about finding a bigger bag. It even fits the helinox cup holder as well. These two items have made this fantastic chair into the absolute perfect camping chair for my needs.

Es compatible con chair one y chair zero. Esta información no aparece en la web de amazon a la hora de la compra. Funciona de maravilla con la chair one. Probado, funciona, es fácil de trasportar porque viene con un clip para llevarlo y ocupa como una billetera grande. Muy practico, no se hunde en la arena de la playa. Volvería a comprarlo.
