There is no battery. Charging via U S B cable.

I have purchased a Spigen hand warmer but as soon as I hold it it goes cold for a few minutes until it's warmed up again is this product the same

No it stays warm. I think it works better after a couple of uses. I have used it for 2/3 rounds of winter golf now and it pretty much stays warm for 4 hours now. I have just ordered a second one for my other pocket!

It's approximately 50mm wide by 100mm long, compared with 60mm by 80mm for the single sided version. It's also slightly larger in terms of depth, and is certainly heavier. I am very pleased with it. Even having used it only a few times to date it is obviously much better in terms of heat generated, and it stays hotter for much longer.
