Gorgeous twill weave and very soft. Purchased to carry in the car but is too nice for that, so will use for a winter sofa throw. Wish it hadn't been the last one because would love to have another.

This is a great blanket to have on a chill movie night in the summer. It's lightweight, so you won't get too hot, and comfortable as hell. The weave is tight while staying soft on your skin, and the design is beautiful. It's become my go-to blanket on the couch to binge watch Season 3 of Stranger Things. I couldn't answer to absorbency really since we haven't gotten it wet, but I imagine this could be a great beach towel as well. We especially loved the little glass "evil eye" ward - it's a solid piece of rounded glass, and while we didn't keep ours on the blanket since our dog was likely to try to eat it, it could definitely be a conversation starter. It's currently hanging in our window and catches the sun beautifully. You should buy this blanket! :)

I needed something to cover my outdoor furniture in that would protect your arms from the heat of the metal and your legs from how hot the Sunbrella fabric gets in our 105+ degree summer weather. This is super soft, super cute, and super thin, so it’s perfect! You don’t hear up and sweat more when you sit on it—it’s absorbent Turkish cotton, so it helps with that instead! The description from the seller is perfect—it’s a small thin blanket that is woven of cotton. The reviewers who complained about size confused me—it’s exactly as described. I’m ordering more so I can place them on our pool loungers and I will put one on our large fire pit table as well—it’s so hot during the day from the sun that it will leave a second degree burn on your arm! This blanket will be perfect to wrap around your shoulders or cover your legs if it cools down more than expected at night when we sit outside as well. Overall, incredibly pleased with this purchase!

This item is sometimes known as a turkish towel. You will often see them used as boho towels in design blogs and magazines. It is very lightweight, soft, and designed to look hand loomed- although the price and selvedges say mechanically loomed. If you understand what you are getting, you will love it. If you want an oversized heavy throw you will possibly be disappointed. I use this as a decorative throw that can then be used as a shawl or leg cover for one person. It looks amazing in my internationally decorated home and is perfect as a light covering. If you have pets or kids with pokey toys, it will quickly get snagged as the cross threads in the design intentionally skip some of the vertical threads and so pose a snag risk. It will look its best spread out on a smallish bed or sofa, as it is too thin/small to “pop” if draped or rolled artfully. Also it slips off leather easily due to soft, smooth texture and light weight- fyi.

We have a couch against the wall that we want to protect from marring. We also want to protect the wall from damage in case the couch and wall come into contact with each other. We bought two of these so that we could drape them over the back of the couch to achieve such a measure. They are soft, beautiful, and in my view, worth every penny. They won't need washing much and are not going to be roughly handled. We have other blankets for keeping warm, these are mainly for the stated purpose (which I would not exactly call decorative alone). The glass piece that comes with it is a nice touch that (1) makes the product unique and easy to find in Amazon listings (obviously a plus for the seller, but also a plus for myself as a buyer as I could recognize their product easily) and (2) is used as a eight to keep the blanket straight. Since we have two of these overlapping to cover the length of the couch, the glass eye on either side of the couch keeps the blanket straight behind the couch (very nice).

Beautifully made Turkish towel! I purchased this after seeing one that my sister-in-law had. Although I don’t plan on using it for a towel, I think it would be great as one, especially for the beach. I am using mine as a lightweight throw. Sometimes the AC is a little chilly in the evening as I sit and watch TV. This will be perfect just to put over my shoulders. I also plan on taking it with me when I go to the movies or out to eat, as those places are often very chilly. It is a very generous size, and Surprisingly warm despite its light weight. And I love the glass eye that was included as a gift! I am very pleased with my purchase and plan on buying a couple more.
