The Cure: A Perfect Dream

I’ve never read any other Cure biography. I’ve been reading this one, little by little and I love it! It’s beautiful and the photographs are so gorgeous! It’s perfect to display on your coffee table or bookshelf. If your a cure fan how could you not get this? Right! Thanks amazon!

What a wonderful gift to myself :) I just received this today and I am SO impressed with the thickness of it and the beautiful colored pictures throughout. It's also filled with lots of text, which I look forward to reading. I am a HUGE Cure fan, and I will proudly display this on my coffee table. A MUST HAVE for all Cure fans!

This book is absolutely beautiful! Some of the information is not completely accurate and pretty much the same as a few other Cure books, but the full page photos totally make up for that. The book itself is pretty big and the cover art makes for a great display piece.

I bought one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. Loved it with a lot of pictures and inside stories from the life of this great band....

On the plus side, this book takes an entertaining look at the evolution of a band, and has great photos. It is not the in-depth bio I had hoped for, as the book delves little into the thoughts and feelings of Robert Smith and other bans members except for Lol Tolhurst, whose endearing, witty soul-searching in his auto-bio Cured is often cited as a source for this book. Thus, having already read Tolhurst's bio, little else was that new to me. Still, the photos are great (though it would have been so fun to have culled some pics from when the band members were little lads), and I love the album artwork and facts listed for each album the band made. Aso love the coffee-table size and format of the book.

Fantastic book with some really dreamy and atmospheric photography for anyone who is a fan of the Cure

The book is beautifully made, the photos are excellent, but the text is very limited with lots of references from other already existing books on the cure.

Most of the pictures are available online and nothing the author wrote about is new info to me. However, I’m old school and prefer flipping through the pages than scrolling up/down the screen. It’s a good addition to my coffee books collection.
