Bought this as a joke gift for Secret Santa for colleague that had come to live and work in Yorkshire, to be honest I wasn't expecting much. Arrived really quickly in great condition and was really surprised and pleased with the quality. It looks just like a real passport. The content was really good and sat down and had a good read through. Recipient absolutely loved it.

Made a work compatriot an Honoury Yorkshire man . So used this to present to him at his initiation . Shall test him on some questions after a month to ensure he understands true Yorkshire grit . If he fails we shall withdraw the Honoury status and confiscate the passport . In true Yorkshire form he never bought the drinks at his initiation .

FAntastic, the complaint is that it could be longer. A group of friends (non Yorkshire) found it very funny yet informative as how important and amazing is Yorkshire and its inhabitants.

This was bought as a gift for a French friend living in France. It took some explaining initially, (although not as much explaining as the Pontefract Cakes did) but also made everyone laugh. Yorkshire has a new dual passport citizen! Very pleased with the purchase, fast & efficient delivery too.

Not what I expected, found a little boring

This book was not quite what I expected, and a preview of a few pages would have helped a ton. Though it was interesting, there was very little content. The book is short and full of pictures and short quotes and lists. If you're looking for a more in-depth book about the history or geography or culture of Yorkshire, pick something else. For what it is, it's great - but since there's no description I wanted to make it very clear that this isn't really a book you read so much as it's a book you thumb through. It would be a great gift for someone who loves Yorkshire or someone who is getting ready to move there.
