This works great on cleaning cast iron pans. Easy to use. Cleans up easily. Doesn't remove seasoning.

This scrubber works phenomenally on our cast iron cookware. We've tried scrubber sponges. We've tried the little plastic scrapers. We've tried regular sponges. Nothing could do a good job at getting everything off, even with strong physical effort. Plus the sponges and scrubber sponges would always end up falling apart and leaving bits of themselves behind. The plastic scrapers eventually started wearing down and I was worried what kind of plastic residue was being left behind. This chainmail scrubber, however, does the trick! I wish I would have bought one sooner! Very good product, very good price!

I picked this up to help clean my BBQ and I can't believe how well this works! After using cleaning solution to get rid of the grease and sticky stuff, I was left with the caked on carbonized remains that cleaners can do nothing to. This gem got rid of most of the buildup with no problems whatsoever. I used it on some stainless steel parts as well and it cleaned those without scratching. After rinsing with water it is as good as new. Now I have a scrubber for my pots and pans that I can trust to do a good job without ruining them. It is even supposed to clean seasoned cast iron without destroying the seasoning; this I will test in the near future. The only complaint I have is that it is a little hard to use as it is difficult for me to keep a good grip on it. I did find that balling it up helped. I'm sure it is just part of a learning curve on my part. Great item at a good price, and meant to last a lifetime! Who knew this existed!

Great for cast iron, burnt on grime, grill cleaning. I wouldn't use it on non-stick, but this will muscle through baked on burnt anything. Just be careful it will take off enamel, scratch stainless steel, but this is basically sand paper for cooking.

This thing is amazing for cleaning cast iron pans! Durable, heavy enough to work but not so heavy as to make using it difficult, and the mesh dries very quickly when you're done. Just remember to clean it with dish soap after you're done washing your pans so you can get any grease off of the scrubber. I'm going to buy more of these as gifts for my kids who have cast iron pans.

I bought this for use in our RV as I only cook with cast iron and sometimes they just need a good scrub! It was actually larger than I had anticipated, so I wound up splitting the rings down the middle and made two that fit exactly in my hand and are easy to use. One for home, one for the RV
