Radiation Detection and Measurement

As an engineer in the nuclear industry my opinion of this book is very positive. Everything you need to know about radiation detection is explained in a clear manner. Some knowledge about nuclear physics is, I think, required.

i just need it for my msc . it is very specific and describe a lot of lABORATORY details.not for general theriticfal reading

this book, now in its 4th edition (2010), is a must have for everyone dealing with radiation detection and measurement or nuclear/particle physics experiments

Little bit difficult to understand, but overall good book and received before time

I used this book for a graduate nuclear instrumentation course. This book is apparently considered the nuc/rad instrumentation bible. Thorough and clear explanations of complex topics. The author has a skill in explaining things with words that makes the overall concepts understandable. Excellent reference.

La "Bible" en matière de détection de rayonnement. Les détecteurs y sont expliqués via leurs principes physiques, la manière dont l'information est traitée et leur utilisation. Je recommande vivement ce livre à tous les physiciens nucléaires et les ingénieurs en mesure nucléaire.

Für die Bachelorarbeit! Eine Bibel für die Strahlungsmesstechnik. Fand es zum Nachschlagen sehr gut. A weng teuer. Aber sonst einwandfrei

放射線計測に関わる人の必需品と思います。 まだ国内の本はこれには及びません。 書籍が大型なので電子書籍化して欲しいですね。
