I wear this thing day and night and I love it! I bought this to help with an umbilical hernia I developed due to (unexplained) fluid build up in my abdomen after a surgery. I would swell up like I was pregnant (45-50 inches waist) and felt like I needed to hold up my belly just walking around. A doctor jokingly suggested I get a pregnancy belly band. Instead I bought this and I am so glad I did. This binder helps contain my hernia and offers so much support to my abdomen and, added bonus, my back. I have been wearing this binder around the clock for nearly 4 months. I wear it to work, I wear it to bed - I find it very comfortable. I wash it in a garment bag in the machine with regular laundry and hang it over the towel rack to air-dry, no fuss, no muss. Now that I am not swelling up as much (33 inch waist) I continue to wear the binder for the hernia support and a little as a waist trainer to help my abdominal "muscles" - such as they are - remember where to go. Pros: every bit of the fabric is elasticized which allows for optimum adjustment and customization in what parts need to be wider or narrower (hips vs waist). As you see in the picture, there are bands of denser elasticized fabric and then mesh--like elasticized fabric. This is nicer than most, and certainly nicer than the hospital-grade ones, especially once your body transforms from kind of homogeneous/columnar to something resembling a waist, etc. The fabric is fairly breathable; much more so than those neoprene things, and it is very flexible. There are no hard stays to dig into your ribs or belly.. The velcro runs the entire length of the one edge and is wide enough that there is no risk of it inadvertently coming open. Both of the smaller strap ends are "velcroed", as well and can pull tighter, or move lower/higher, as needed, for best fit and comfort. PRO TIP: Be sure to smooth it down: Velcro is as Velcro does and may stick to, or snag your clothes. Cons: As I have been losing weight, I have peen pulling the binder further down over my hips. This is fine when standing, walking, etc. but when I sit, it rides up because my behind gets wider. I really don't think this is attributable to the binder as much as it is to my derriere. In summary: I love it, I'm getting another and I recommend this to all who could benefit from it. Cheers!

This is a great belt. I used it right after my C-Section and it has been for 4 months and I still use it. I am a large woman and it helped me a lot to keep my bell up and tight so it does not fall on my stiches. I am in an oversees vacation now and many women saw it and requested to order one. I saw comments about size but I ordered large after giving birth and I was 209 pounds. It fit greatly and there was even far more space to tighten it. It never bend or curled and functions as the first day. It was also a true life saver when I started gym. I read some comments indicates that it curls or bends I believe they attempt to use it when they are sitting or laying down. My doctor clearly indicated to use it only when I am up, walking or at gym. I still don't have any issue of bending even when I participate in floor gym activities where I go in many different positions. I am not a kind of person who writes reviews frequently but I shop online a lot and make my decision mainly based on reviews. So I wanted to give an honest feedback for the product so others can comfortably buy it. This product deserves every penny that I paid :)

This binder fit very well. I am happy with the support it provides folowing my hysterectomy. I am glad I invested in this belly binder. I saw lots of different styles, but some just seemed too rigid. This has enough support, but isn't rigid. With my abdomen swollen, I didn't want anything that would be too tight.

When I measured what my size was and ordered according to their size chart, I found that this really runs a lot smaller than they say in the ad. What a disappointment, as it seems like it would be a very comfortable fit and with great support. According to their chart, this should be a perfect fit for me, however, I would say that they are off by a couple inches. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in a larger size. If this product had fit, as they said it would, I would have given this product 5 stars. Other than the size, it is a very nice abdominal binder and is made with quality.

I bought this waist trimmer as a waist trainer. I've bought lots of waist trainers before and I always run into the same issue. They are never tight around my waist, they always just end up squeezing my hips. I'm trying to train my waist! Not my hips! They just don't make waist trainers to fit my curvy porportions. I bought this belt because it looked comfortable and had the adjustable tightening straps which is what I needed. I would recommend this over any of the expensive waist trainers. It's breatheable, comfortable and it actually squeezes your waist! My only issue is I wish they made these in a smaller size. It's still a little too big. I might have to cut off the extra fabric. Other than that it's a great product the straps are sturdy and the Velcro seems strong.

I had such high hopes that this would help hold in my tummy. It is the most uncomfortable item to wear ever. It bunches up in the back and is bulky in the front and is completely visible through clothing. Also the velco kept getting stuck on my clothing and ruined two shirts. It felt tight but didn't do anything visibly to make my tummy look slimmer and was so uncomfortable that I could only wear it for about an hour. Look elsewhere for a better quality abdominal binder.

Hard to get the large panel closed smoothly but it works pretty well when you do. DO NOT wear with workout type material though, the velcro snags it through the binder and rips it up =(

I bought a medium and I'm a size 4-6. The extra small wraps can be placed high or low (both pictured). I also took a picture of those wrapped as tight as possible, and wrapped as loose as possible to show how versatile this really is. I wear it with the tag at the bottom in the back as I feel that is a more natural shape. There is NO velcro rubbing against your skin. The ribbing goes all of the way to the top, which is hard to find. It is very breathable compared to those sporty ones you find. I machine wash then lay out to dry. I used this after abdominal surgery and it was wonderful!! It's more comfortable lying down than sitting as it is seriously so long, which is great! Most people wearing this would be wearing it at home anyway. Just lean back a little and it's great. It's still better than the sports ones which would be scratching you each time you sit! If you want it to help smooth out your rolls before you are in a swimsuit, just wear it a few days in a row. It's not permanent results, but it does smooth everything! That is necessary after abdominal surgeries, so this was perfect! I was able to move the extra pieces to EXACTLY cover the incision site!!
