I recently bought a Sony Blu-ray player from Goodwill, but it didn’t come with a remote. I looked up the model number and found this replacement, and I’m really glad I did. It arrived quickly, looks and feels great, and the buttons are solid. Best of all, it works perfectly with my DVD player with no needing to program it. Just add batteries and you're good to go! Exactly what I needed!

Worked exactly as described. We didn't need to sync to the new TV. It just started working right out of the book. It looks just like the old remote.

I purchased a Sony DVD player at the thrift and it didn't come with a remote. I checked the model number and purchase this based on that. It works perfectly! success! Just pop in a couple of batteries and you are good to go. Buttons works great, battery life seems to be great, and there is literally no set up, you're good to go right away.

This is a direct one-to-one replacement match for the SONY OEM product. All the same buttons are there and function the same, and in fact they are slightly separated more to make it easier to use. It is compatible for Sony BluRay BDP-S3100 also (which is what I'm using it with). Way back when, very satisfied with the BDP-S3100 in the living room, not just for DVD's but also for the extra streaming apps (Netflix, etc.), I bought a second unit for another room. Over time, I lost the second remote, so I'd need to remember to bring it along depending on which room I was in. Got tired of that so I decided to get this remote. I still have the second OEM remote so I was able to compare. They are entirely interchangeable. And actually, the buttons on the replacement are just ever-so-slightly separated more, which actually makes them easier to use. Highly recommended if you need a replacement.

This operates my DVD player perfectly! Four stars because there were no instructions on how to set the remote up to operate TV functions (the buttons on the remote do indicate this capability). I am still super happy to not have to get up an punch buttons on the DVD player :)

Ended up buying a used blue-ray player and noticed it was missing the remote, did some looking online and found this replacement for the low price of $5 and it came fast and exceeded my expectations for the price point. Put some batteries in and it worked instantly. 10/10
