Oh My Goddess! It's absolutely beautiful. I don't think they mentioned in the product description but it has a felted base so it won't damage your wood furniture. The photos don't do it justice. The colors are very subtle but the details are more pronounced in person. Thank you so much to the artisans who made this. I've been waiting and watching for the perfect Hecate statue and this is it! Beautiful work! Update 3/2/2020: I moved and the movers were not careful with it. They literally packed my computer, desk accessories and my Hecate statue in a wardrobe box. Yes, really. Too bad I can't review the movers on here! At least I can purchase another one, there were other items where I can't replace them and I can't repair them so I'm glad this survived the move at least and I can buy another one. The other reviewers who said it's fragile weren't kidding! It is fragile. I'm probably taking the broken one to the office where people won't notice so much. I'm an academic so I'm supposed to be a little wacky! On the statue the knife broke, as did the bottom section of the key and one arm. There are absolutely wires in the extended pieces. I already fixed the arm that came off but the knife and key are kind of obvious. Honestly I thought it was overkill to have so much padding in the box when it arrived over 6 years ago but definitely keep the molded Styrofoam and the box that it came in. If you move you're going to need it! Now that I've received my second one? Yes, you are going to need the Styrofoam. I don't know how many people got their statues broken but if you got the dark blue box, that should be fine. It has custom fitted Styrofoam to fit Her arms, which is where the fragile pieces are. I'll try to get some photos tomorrow to show the damage. The piece is excellent quality, you just have to be careful in moving it.

Hecate is my favorite Greek Goddess. About 12 years ago I contacted Sacred Source to inquire about possibly making a one-of-a-kind personal piece as they did not carry any Hecate statues similar to the one I wanted. They informed me it would be a rather expensive and time consuming process. I set about drawing my idea, which was based off of actual museum pieces and artistic representation of the goddess. However, with time I gave up on it and concluded that it was really unfair that I be the one to have to pay this large amount of money to have this made when it is obvious there would be a huge demand for such a statue. So I gave up on it. Then I ran across this statue. The statue I had envisioned is almost perfectly represented in this piece. The only difference is that one of the figures has a different crown, one of the figures has an almost flower-like crown but I had chosen a crown with a circular emblem, and that each figure should be holding different objects. For example, I envisioned each figure holding a torch and a tool, such as key, dagger and serpent. So what we have in this statue is one figure holds two torches, one figure holds a torch and a dagger and the last figure holds a key and a serpent. Close enough! The statue is beautiful and has a nice weight. The bottom is felted to prevent any scratches or scuff marks to furniture tops. The figure that holds the key and serpent is dressed in a pink/purple dress and has a standard crown on her head. The serpent she carries is green. The figure that holds two torches is dressed in blue and has a flower-like crown on her head. The figure that holds the dagger and one torch actually has a yellowish or greenish dress on, which you can't really tell from the pictures. She is wearing a crown with rays. Overall the colors are very subtle and one thing I notice is that with time it becomes harder to distinguish any color and especially from a distance. The only problem I have with the statue is it's size. It's only about 7 1/2 inches or so tall, 8 if you count the tip of the torch. I would really wanted it to be at least 12 inches tall. However, the piece, as it stands, is very beautiful and would make a wonderful addition to a collection.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who practices the old ways. I had a hard time choosing between this and a white one, also depicting the goddess' triple form. In the end, I chose this one as I thought the color would be more appropriate. It is absolutely perfect. Just as beautiful as in the photos, if not more. The only thing that could have made it better is a hound, a symbol of Hecate. As far as I can tell, all other major symbols are present. My husband is soooooo happy with it. She is now in a very special place in our home, a centerpiece. Thanks to the creator for an exquisite product!
