I love the strong light and the powerful blast of electricity from such a compact little box. I just have to buzz it in the air to scare unwelcome critters away with out really hurting them but it’s powerful enough to, when placed in a good position to take down a full grown man. My brother didn’t believe me but now he knows 😄

THIS is the perfect holiday gift. I gift these to the young adult and adult women in my family. Everyone wants one. Safety first! These are light weight but hold a good deal of power. The size is great for purses or pockets. I feel better knowing my loved ones have one of these.

When comparing to the S-1005 model, the flashlight is dimmer and the charger requires a wall outlet. There is no overcharge protection so you'll have to be careful charging it.The size is still suitable to take around in a pocket (even if it's a little wider than the 1005), but the side switch on mine takes more effort to properly shift up/down between modes. My specific unit apparently also has this issue where switching out of flashlight mode to "off" causes the flashlight to stay on and you have to mess with the switch a bit to get it to turn off. But there's low risk of accidentally switching it into armed mode, that's for sure.The fire button seems to work a fair bit better than the 1005 model, and it hasn't lost its ability to create the arc through pressing it. We'll have to see if it gets "jammed up" somehow as my 1005 did, though.Overall this should work fine if you manage to slide your switch to "armed" fast enough without your thumb slipping off. It's not *too* practical to use the dimmer light to "stun" someone though, especially if you want a strobe effect (which there is none of). You'll also have to plan out a specific spot in your pockets/etc. for just this, so you can keep it upright in a position easily grabbable in a quick moment.

I loved the pink. The noise level was calm.it charge perfectly well and good compact size.

Haven't had to use it yet but so far charging and buttons work. Just the aound of it would be enough to scare someone off lol
