This is such a surprising and delicious black licorice toffee candy! It’s buttery toffee flavor make the black licorice flavor more mild and it’s a delicious treat! I really have to order multiple bags because once opened I can’t stop.

I wish I didn't buy these because now I'm addicted to them...lol (j/k)! These are so delicious. I treat them like hard candy and I truly enjoy the taste! Oddly they relax and calm me. You only need one or two and you're satisfied. I also am very happy that they are individually wrapped. Not very sticky like others have mentioned. Thank you Walkers and of course Amazon!

I am British and I have enjoyed these candies since I was a little girl. Liquorice is one of my favorite flavors and these toffee are wonderful. So glad I can still get them here. They are very chewy so watch out if you have false teeth or loose teeth. I have been eating these for 60 years and still love them just as much as I did when I was a child.

The toffees were a little brittle instead of chewy like they had sat on a shelf for a while. The flavor was good though.

I over the last 20 yrs or so, I had searched for black licorice toffee. I just couldn’t find it. Finally, about 2 months ago I found that the company I was looking for was no longer in business. So i changed my search to a generic search of companies that made black licorice toffees. Walker's Nonsuch Toffees came up at the top of the list. I ordered 1 bag to see if Walkers was comparable. Boy, did I hot the jackpot! I immediately ordered 12 bags and am still eating and sharing them after 2 months. Black licorice is an acquired taste. I have found of those I've offered them to are over 50, with only one person under 50. If you didn't grow up eating black licorice, you more than likely won't like it. This isn't your standard Twizzlers or Black Vine licorice. The texture is smoother and creamier. The flavor is not overwhelming and they are easy to chew. I was worried they would arrive melted or they would become hard in transit. I'm in the desert and I had one package of soft pastilles arrive from the UK melted. I have shared this wonderful find with my coworkers and a family member. The worst thing any of them has said was they didn't want more than a few because they are addicting.

When I was a little girl, my neighbor would hand these out to us when we would visit on her front porch….I can’t believe I found them 50 years later! You brought tears to my eyes and fond memories. Hands down, the most delicious, freshest, quality and so yummy 😋

This licorice is.very nice and creamy with good licorice flavor. It was fresh and arrived quickly. I still wish I could find the kind my grandmother always had from U.K. It’s almost there, but a little too hard. Great flavor and richness though. I will buy it again.

Absolutely love these licorice toffees. They’re a bit hard at first, but once they warm up they turn into that classic chewy toffee texture that’s so satisfying. The flavor is rich and creamy and the licorice adds a really nice twist. My only wish is that the licorice flavor were a little stronger—I’d happily take an extra punch of it. That said, they’re still super yummy as they are. Honestly, I can’t buy these too often because once the bag is open, I can’t stop eating them. If you like chewy toffee and licorice, these are a must-try.
