Great small phone for people who want to carry their phone in their pocket!
Great small phone! I'm apparently the last man on earth who thinks a phone should fit in your pocket, and primarily serve as a phone. Yes, I love the smartphone features - email, video, websurfing, etc - but most of my life I'm easily within 10-20 feet of a real computer - with a real monitor and a real keyboard. And if I'm doing email it's way more efficient to do it on a real keyboard, web surfing is infinitely easier with a mouse and a 20" monitor, and video is best seen on something properly sized. The difference between a 4" screen and a 6" screen for all is miniscule - it's like saying I prefer to use a 3/4" garden hose to put the fire out instead of a 1/2" hose - when there's a real firehose hooked up to a real hydrant right next to you.... Meanwhile, aside from the size being perfect, this phone works great with my T-Mobile service. It also has an SD card slot, wihich I love for moving large files and pictures off the internal memory but the recent Android updates that prevent most apps from storing their data there limit that usability. I understand the issues preventing you from moving apps to external storage, but why would anyone in their right mind not allow a camera app or a podcast app to store it's data on external SD? That's just stupid, but that's out of our control. Meanwhile, battery life is good - but not great. It's a small battery so I understand. I get a day out of it and that's about it. If you're the type that thinks the difference in screen resolution between X and Y pixels is a make or break issue (which obviously means you put far too much importance into watching entertainment on a screen that is far too small for that...) I'm sorry but I can't either gush about the fantastic resolution or gripe about the low resolution - whatever it is. Cat videos look fine, as do pictures. I've used six or seven different phones now including a couple varieties of I-devices, and so far I like this one the best.

Better than expected, few nice extra features
I bought this phone about 1 week ago (for $89). Have received it fast, and everything is working fine, did install applications etc from google even without sim card (wifi), then just changed sim card from old phone to this one, and it is working. Small and convenient phone, several nice things I was not aware of are the following: 1) using 4.4.2 android (not 4.1 and was specified at amazon) - good, since it will work with all fitness bracelets, watches etc 2) it has NFC 3) micro-sd card (I have 64 gb one) is working, and it location allows to take it off without removing the battery, so no need to keep restarting the phone 4) there is some ATT software preinstalled, but not too much, and less samsung bloatware than usual, so I did not have to spend time clearing the phone. Comparing it with another S3 mini (GT I 8200), it looks better for me, and almost 50 dollars cheaper. By the way, these phones have same size, so can use same screen protectors and cases, but unfortunately batteries are different. Also this phone using micro-sim (I 8200 using mini one). Also, as far as I can say, it is new, and unlocked. So, I am quite please with this phone.

used device -- accurate description, works as promised
There are many reviews about the S3-mini -- this is more about the seller "JP Mobile". The device was sold as used and it was described to have minor nicks on the case but glass is clear and scratch-free and it functions. After unpacking, I immediately noticed the two rough scratches on the edge, one next to the power button. As promised, the rest was in tip-top shape. Using the phone for a couple of weeks, the roughness now is gone and the scratch is merely a minor cosmetical issue. Accurate description & quick shipping [update] DRAWBACKS OF THE GALAXY S3 MINI My biggest frustration is the camera & exposure. Or the lack of control. You cannot adjust exposure to shorten exposure to see the details in a bright portion of the image. At conferences, the S3 always overexposes the presenter's screens while preserving the ambient darkness of the room. Please give me the choice which area is important, maybe combine it with the focus area.

Fantastic Phone!
I love this little phone. It is small and light weight but does everything I want a phone to do. When my beloved HTC started to act up, my main concern was getting a phone that would sync with my Fitbit Charge HR. Originally, I purchased the S3 i8200 (value version) and then discovered it was not compatible with Fitbit. That is what I get for not doing my homework thoroughly before making a purchase. Amazon graciously agreed to let me send it back for a refund and I purchased the S3 G730A. It works like a charm. It also has good sound quality and is easy to navigate. It requires a mini SIM, so I had to go to the AT&T store to get my old SIM cut down. The lady who helped me wanted to know where I got it and how much it cost. When I told her, she said I had gotten an amazing deal. I agree.

Excellent.. Arrived brand new and branded for At&t ...
Excellent .. Arrived brand new and branded for At&t which is what I wanted since I use go phone through At&t. Now I never wanted a "smart phone" I always said someone would have to pry my Motorola razr out of my cold dead hands before I gave it up.. well finally after all the years my pink baby died and I was basically forced into getting a smart phone. Reasons I never wanted one is I love just tossing my phone in my jeans pocket, I can sit on it and drop it a million times without worrying about cracked screens and they were nice and small which fit my small hands. I looked into smart phones for awhile and decided on the mini because of its size. This is pretty much the same size ( just less than an inch longer ) as my Motorola which is what I wanted. I did have to get a new sim card because this doesnt use the standard size sim card it uses the micro so I bought the kit so if anything happens to this phone in the future my sim will fit any phone AT&T MicroSim Starter Kit for GoPhone Devices (No Annual Contract) This phone works perfectly and I have had no issues with it at all except for my charging wire died, which I read is common with these wires which is probably why they sell them in 5 packs on amazon for like $15

It was by far a great phone. Came as fast as guaranteed
It was by far a great phone. Came as fast as guaranteed, and was in perfect condition...but the battery was TERRIBLE. It would charge and go dead while charging, even when i didnt use it. Other wise, great, but i did request a refund and Warehouse deals done absolutely amazing with that!

The Best Bargain For Your Buck !
I purchased this through the vendor called BREED. It works like a charm. I have Cricket service. In case you are not aware, Cricket was bought out by AT&T recently so it uses AT&T's GSM technology. If you have Sprint or Verizon, it will not work on their CDMA technology. After I received it, I went to the Cricket store and had one of their SIM cards installed. It only set me back $5 for the cost of their card. So far, the phone works well. It is not much different than any other android phone. I like it simply because it slips in my shirt pocket without any problems. Also, it comes fully loaded with 40 ring tones so you are sure to find one you like. The processor is fast so when serving the internet, you will have no problems loading pages. For the price, you will get a high priced phone with all the bells and whistles for less than $150. Who can beat that?

Great phone. Exceptional value.
Works great. Perfect size: not too big, but with a readable, display. I bought this for my daughter because it cost way less than the Galaxy S4 Mini that I bought for myself, and it was functionally very similar, which is important since I will be her first stop for tech support. I could not be more satisfied. The differences are very slight, If you are trying to decide between the two phones, and price is any issue at all, go for this one.
